One of the lies I heard at the Townhall was the 70% of the people that have left, have asked to return. I only know of 1 person that has returned out the 50-60 that I know that have left. That was because the recruiter flat out lied about the position being offered. He admits that it was his fault for trusting an HR person. Sounds like Honeywell HR.

At least John Boy wasn't on the podium. Maybe he really will be gone soon?

So far nothing new just the same old. VK seemed a bit nervous.

The Townhall is turning into a Ra Ra China deal. All of you outside of China had better pick it up!

This will be just another Ra Ra meeting...disguising how bad the company is really performing. Can you really trust them?

I am confident that I can lead this company into its future greatness. What will be helpful is some six sigma certifications and IDP goals. If all fails, we can add even more surcharges on customers, lay off people, cut benefits and blame employees.

Thank you for coming to my townhall. What a successful year with successful VOE results. I look forward to the next townhall. We will work hard together because we are a family here. I will reward you with a 1% annual bonus because I believe in treating employees right. Don’t you forget: the future is what we make it.

So will DA just quietly slither away or will he drop some damage as a parting gift.
It will be interesting to see how they play this.
They could drop a bo-b and use DA as a scape goat or save a heavy hit for VK's entrance to show him as a shakeup CEO. I am curious I have to say.

There have been no obvious actions that I have seen so far. I suspect that tomorrow will be a big nothing. Originally I expected actions to have been taken prior to the Townhall so that DA could stand up there and bloviate on his decisive actions to insure Honeywell's future performance.

I did have a weird dream last night that there would be some sort of "inner join" and that maybe a couple of SBG's would be joined into one? If something like that does happen, it'd be the first time that I have had an accurate dream. It also shows that I've been thinking way too much about this disaster of a company. :)

I just wonder if any specific actions will be announced before the formal roll over to VK?

That's ALT speak for offshoring more jobs! This is why I keep telling people to do the bare minimum; hard work gets you nowhere in this company.
