Absolutely 1ktz+1tYfnUj.

Starbucks fired their CEO for not producing results for the past two quarters. Why is this Dame not shown the doors yet?

TIAA treats contractors like garbage. This move lets them shed thousands of employees over time with no severance. This is terrible, cowardly leadership. Unfortunately it's par for the course now.

@1xct+1tYfnUj9 If sold to contracting firm paycheck and any benefits will be through them as one would no longer be a TIAA employee but a contractor to TIAA.

I was a contractor to TIAA once and was treated like a cancer by other employees back then so I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. Plus depending on how the chosen firm pays people, I had to do a 1099 and taxes were a nightmare. Hourly rate was decent but no PTO or sick days, it was and would still be better to be an Intern at TIAA back then.

What saves TIAA the most money? Right now the best way to look at anything we may or may not do is look at what saves TIAA money.

They aren't "selling recordkeeping". They are buying the services of an outsourced vendor to provide recordkeeping services. TIAA still owns the records, but they no longer will do the work.

They would be buying a new contract firm who would get our associates under their umbrella. So technically yes TIAA would still be buying them as they would have to pay the consulting firm some sort of royalty for those contracts.

Selling would imply that they are getting money for our services still from the contracting firm which makes no logical sense.

Do tell, because honestly “buying”. The companies actions don’t support a purchase.

We're buying, not selling.
