@"Sprint folks are flipping worthless"

You're obviously not a top notch person (nor likely a worthy employee) criticizing others.

Some kickbacks from vaccine mandates.

@dsy+1sKhnqUH not all SunCom employees were gone. There were a few that I know of that came over into manager roles in operations. One dude is dum_ber than a bag of rocks how still with the company no idea 😂

If US Cellular’s employees are anything like the Sprint employees T-Mobile absorbed, the company will continue to get worse. Both groups of employees have nothing to contribute aside from costing the company more money. Why buy failed companies with failed employees that were a big part of the company failing?

@rxa+1sKhnqUH, great question. The quick answer... T-Mobile is a profitable company. It is generating more than enough revenue to support its operations, financing, and investing activities. Quarterly Free Cash Flow has been positive since 3/31/2021.(1) The company is managing its expenses well, thus maximizing shareholder value.(2) If T-Mobile was eligible to be listed on the Fortune 500 list, it would be ranked #52. T-Mobile is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, therefore not eligible to be on the list.(3)(4)

| Rank | Ticker | Company | Revenue (M) | Employees |
|------|--------|----------------------|-------------|-----------|
| 50 | TSLA | Tesla | $81,462 | 127,855 |
| 51 | PG | Procter and Gamble | $80,187 | 106,000 |
| 51.5 | TMUS | T-Mobile | $78,558 | 67,000 |
| 52 | GE | General Electric | $76,555 | 172,000 |
| 53 | ACI | Albertsons | $71,887 | 195,750 |

@1wxz+1sKhnqUH, that was the old structure before the T-Mobile/Metro PCS merger. After the merger, T-Mobile USA assumed its own debt. Great information on the T-Mobile Fixed Income page. If you want detailed information about the T-Mobile USA debt, you can download the Schedule of Debt as of 03/31/2024 Excel spreadsheet.

For those former Sprint associates that were laid off, did time with Sorint convey as they moved over to TMobile!? (For example if I had 20 years at Sprint, did my benefits reflect that tenure when I became a TMobile employee)? Would be cr-ppy to get on with TMobile after working at another carrier for 20 years only to get laid off as a way to possible avoid a severance package…..just trying to understand how this impacted associates last acquisition…

The T-Mobile press release announcing this deal does not use the word job or employee in it anywhere.

"This merger is all about creating new, high-quality, high-paying jobs, and the New T-Mobile will be jobs-positive from Day One and every day thereafter," he said. John Legere (right) next to Mike Sievert, who succeeded him as T-Mobile CEO.

Where is T-Mobile getting all this money from? 26 billion for Sprint, almost 8 billion worth of shares to SoftBank, almost 100 million in FCC fines, a billion into Lumos, now over 4 billion for US cellular. WHERE-IS-ALL-THAT-MONEY-COMING-FROM?!

If recent past history is any indication, T-Mobile will say there is room for everyone on the T-Mobile island for those US Cellular folks. Then the layoffs will begin...again...

When we took over SunCom many years ago, their employees were gone in a month or so, allowing magenta people to move up.
That was many years ago and different CEO, but same plan.

We acquired the right to have fixed radio access to over 2000 towers for 15 years AND the right to swing US Cell customers to T-Mobile’s billing/ offers. I doubt many folks from US Cell will be absorbed. Can’t wait to hear what our leaders say.

If it is wireless operations, it is highly possible it includes employees, I do not recall what was the language used on the minor carriers acquired before and after Sprint
