When you are notified, unless they tell you to send out notification, I would not. And you do not have to lie about why you were suddenly OOO, 1) it’s nobody’s business but yours a whoever you tell. 2) on 8/8, not gonna be a real secret, I think most of the company knows about it.
ALL, HAVE A LIST OF QUESTIONS TO ASK. And make sure you get any personal stuff off your systems.
Good luck
No doubt csbd is being hit hard, so much is being sent to carelon offshore. What a $hit$how that will end up being.
@1wkb…you throw on an OOO and disappear. I absolutely believe they monitor the coms of those who are RIF’d to ensure they’re not disclosing/discussing it (at least on company coms). It’s a lot like getting fired- you have work to do, meetings to attend and people who are counting on you, and you end up letting them down through no fault of your own. #corporateghosting
Please understand I think it’s just as vile as you do, but severance > no money all day erryday!
Lotsa talk that teams under Distribution and Sales Support are being targeted
Claims?? CSBD is large, please elaborate on what people leader and areas!
I am still confused about how we can keep being riffed a secret when we have to send out an OOO notice to the entire team in advance with our backups listed when we take time off. Does management think team members won't figure it out when I logoff the system midday on 8/8 and am out all day on 8/9? Do I lie and tell them I suddenly came down with a stomach virus or COVID when I get questioned (and there will be some that WILL QUESTION ME)....? Or does the rule to keep your mouth shut about getting riffed in order to get your supplemental pay not apply to your immediate team members? I know management is used to lying to people all the time, but I am not!!!
There is a lot of employees in commercial and it has been eerily silent. What have you heard?
What level (s) frontline? Managers? Directors? Higher?
The silence feels very telling that whole units will go
Anything you can share or elude to will help
I want to be as prepared as possible on that fateful day and I hop it is 8/8 and they don’t drag it out any longer.
Spill!
Hit me with your best shot Helevance. Cause I'm gonna rock you like a hurricane
Any idea which areas in Commercial?
