Good point about "Not going in" this could be seen as abandoning your job or whatever.

But thanks for the other tips.

If you don’t go in isn’t this abandoning your post?

Don't go in. Get fired & Then You Can Claim Unemployment. You can't claim if you abandon your post. If you resign- try and do it early in the month -- 2nd / 3rd -- then your benefits are covered until the end of the month! If you know you are leaving - take your Cultural Day as you won't get paid for it. Remember to spend your Center Stage "Dollars".

Good luck to you all. Handed in my notice today. In a few weeks starting at a new company with a 20% raise, healthcare paid for fully by the company, and 4 weeks vacation. The grass is greener.

Begs the question…maybe this lawsuit is a group of both current and former disgruntled employees who want to have their cake and eat it too?

lol why would anyone waste their time on a lawsuit when they can just go work somewhere like Salesforce for more money and a full remote position?

RTO lawsuit? On what grounds? And really….no one is going to give contact info here. smh.

Unemployment rates rising again. And surprise so are inflation rates. Be smart and line up a job before jumping ship.

Is there any truth to the buzz about employees pursuing a RTO class act lawsuit? I would like to know who to contact?

Make the count on the board for today 7 resignations…waiting for my new start date before I put my notice in.

There really are a lot of jobs out there. Why put up with mediocrity.

Gave my notice. Get out while you can. I did enjoy my free coffee while I negotiated my new gig.

Commute sucks. So much wasted time and energy so far this week.
But so many spontaneous, career development discussions
where I collaborated with many who are looking for new jobs. Lots of remote jobs out there that we applied for together of free coffee in the AM (x2), then over free lunch, followed by a nice walk outside, oh and then one more time for the road over afternoon cappuccino.

Free beverages and lunch for a couple of months does not change the fact that leadership ignored the overwhelming majority of voice of their own work force. While at the same time publishing studies for other employers on how to hone in on what matters to employees? Get out of here…

After collaborating over breakfast, second breakfast, and elevensies, I took a nap in a meditation room. Hour call then I had to take the train back to get the kids from school because there's no such thing as a part time aftercare program with open spots in March. RTO is great.

mad props to the lady that was on one of my WebEx calls Monday wearing a full-on N95 while in her cubicle taking the meeting. you could tell it bothered some of the managers on the call.

I heard lots of people coughing and sneezing all over. What happens if I get sick? I was working fine from home and now I’m putting my health at risk.

RTO is expected behavior. It is not being mandated or enforced. Stay home.

Saw lots of selfies of big sh-t eating grins on LinkedIn. All of them in offices, not at cubes. Read between the lines people.

I saw mostly people in offices looking like they just won some sort of popularity contest with the smirks and smiles. Rest of us, not so much. Fu-k these leaders who are so clueless. Tell us again how it makes sense that some people are 100% virtual but not all of us? Fu----g id--ts.

I’m happy for anyone who has RTO by choice. Period.

Hilarious! Agree!

Just look at the promoters…Upper Management, new management, supporters who are ambitious attempting to lattice, or scared to voice their own opinion.

RTO: easy to ignore the obvious reality and preferences of the masses when you can sit in your executive office in denial.

Success I’d say- well done!

Two words come to mind…New Coke.

A lot of effort was put into what is sure to go down in history as a flop.

And I agree. most people who were happy had their own offices that they couldn’t wait to get into. Perks of upper levels.

And thought dress code was casual?

It will be spun as the next success story on LTL.

About 1/4 of the people were in. Multiple meetings where people did webex from their desk instead of the conference rooms. Free lunch x2, no random conversations that had productivity, and arrived home aggravated from the commute. Net loss IMO.

People in private offices with walls and doors seemed happier than those out on floor in cubes.

It sucked. Long commute. Missing my family. Free lunch and music in the cafeteria don't make up for WFH. HR people are so damn cheery. No one wants to be there!

I did. The change of pace and scenery was surprisingly good. So was seeing people who I’d not seen in two years. I’m actually happy to be back but also happy that it isn’t 5 days a week.
