Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Another Monday, another talented CS leaves

The closer we get to being paid the bonus , the more people claim’s lose. We never add new staff, only replace people that left months ago, get it together SF..

I have talked to 3 people on my injury CS claims team that are looking to leave. 2 have tried to post out and have accepted offers, but injury wouldn’t let them leave. WFH is opening up so many opportunities for claim handlers, I just don’t get SF’s thinking on this ?

@1bko I agree with you regarding increasing base pay. SF does save money on ECRs because they don't owe them any benefits (medical, dental, VSP, 401(k), PTO etc.) which are significant overhead costs.

I am not a hor like them. They can take their 1500.00. I don't lie to folks and tell them I recommend SF as an employer. They can have their 1500.00. My life is more important than to recommend a person to be worked to death by an employer who thinks they are sc-m.

@1vzb: Must you take a dump on every thread with your politics? You need help.

@1bko It's no different than big government. The more government regulates the honest law abiding citizen and taxes them to death, the worse the economy gets. Basic Econ 101. Remember! The elites don't care about the working class. They think we are disposable just like a paper towel. They sure don't like it when the tables are turned on them but they will soon find out you can only stretch a rubber band so far before it breaks. Believe me, their rubber band is about to break.

but hey $1500 referral fee now ...

they try everything to get employees in the door except the one thing that might actually work , that is increase base pay to match what other insurance companies offer and increase pay to current employees so they dont leave …

nope they rather pay unlimited OT and ECRs which i will say is more expensive in than being competitive with wages, its like they want things to fall apart

at first i figured it was about the money but it is more expensive now with OT and ECRs so i really think its pure incompetence on management higher up.

Alot of people are about to leave come bonus time, you can be blindfolded and apply at a random Insurance company and they pay more than State Farm by a lot

@acr Why because SF does not care about anyone in claims. PERIOD! If they say they do, it's their propaganda machine. The new hires will read through it faster than the old school!

It’s crazy, the only way people can get out of claims is to go to a new company. Claims has had a freeze in injury for over 3 years , no one can post out. Why is it better for the company to just lose talent then just letting them go to a position they want to be in ?
