Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

A Marketing team with ZERO diversity, sounds about right?

Does anyone else think it's odd that the Consumer Marketing department has no diversity. The only demographic who receives promotions and who is hired are white women.
So much for inclusion and diversity that the company said they were looking to expand on

We shouldn't only think only black or white but Asian Indian Hispanic etc... diversity across the board

Doing the hiring with their same “old school” thinking , minorities will never get an opportunity to move up. Look at the NFL.

Man, y'all buying into the equity stuff?

Pfft... I want the best person doing the job, not giving positions out to minorites like a charity case.

I'm black. I want to know I'm there in my position because I'm the best candidate, not because of some initiative to put me there because of my skin color. Otherwise it's just racism.

To the comment stating “ Skin color doesn't mean jack” the point is that the company is committing to inclusion and diversity and I think the posts states there is none. Try selling a department that isn’t diverse with the narrative that it’s ok b/c they are all diverse in mind and thought. Good luck with that.
