That 401 number was the layoffs in Washington State the first week (look at the dates on the WARN listing). it doesn't include whatever comes next.

As has been posted on this site many time, TMO is paying those affected for 60 days before their actual termination date. This makes them compliant with WARN.

I don’t think this more on top of the 5k. I believe this is 60 days after digital and ETS layoff notifications were given on 8/23. October 24th would be their official termination date.

I bet they are laying of 5000 by end of September and then 400 more in October. In my Marketing department we are changing to more automated systems but it’s not ready yet. Use your employees to get it set up now, axe them later

This only applies to Washington state, other states are not included in the same warn notice
