Some layout here, some layoffs there, an office or a site closes here and there… all of this feels like death by a thousand cuts. I know that the reductions and closures are a known thing at HON, but why not get them over with as soon as possible. Who benefits from this? The employees are more and more stressed out as each day goes by and the two they continue to have employees that they’re not really counting on the payroll for a longer amount of time. It ridiculous.

Honeywell cant just stop production. It takes time to shut down plant without crippling the company. I agree that it is agonizing and a very slow painful process. Some of us are getting close to retirement and are getting impatient.
Information leaking months in advance and a pathetically executed "plan" by fools. Ready for this to end.
Thinking of the unauthorized entry into the facility a few months back.....I truly hope that as we continue through this process the safety of everyone is maintained.
OP.... I don’t think you quite understand what is actually happening with this company. This is the “New Buisness Model”! It will never be finished. Lead, follow or get out of the way.
Because it takes an insane amount of time to close down a plant properly. You can't just plug and play.
