@1tvv+1nTpa9qS- So... are you blaming remote work for this? wow.. I've no words for such a sharp analytical and critical thinking mind such as yours.... just no words.

And I remember a town hall where a VP showed us their travel pictures from India, visiting all the talent centers and talking about taking everyone to lunch and visiting all over the country and how they were headed to ANI and the other Allstate talent centers next. It was the Allstate World Tour. Oh...plus new luggage and all the cool stuff they bought in India.

But we need to to cut expenses and tighten our belts. Remember that when they do their annual ask for you to apply for the job you already have and you're fighting for a severance package.

Can you say tone deaf management? They certainly aren't leaders.

Maybe we need to cut some of these people off from bonuses for hitting bogus target dates until the company comes back to profitability? And quit laying off junior people to make up for the lack of any real leadership?

Haven't read anything to confirm but this company must look like a juicy target for some activist investor to buy their way onto the board and then FORCE changes.

It's alright everyone! We have light in the loafers Bob Toohey and his Inclusive Diversity! The company is just fine!

Hate to see it. Especially after Wilson gave that d-mb article about how brilliant his plan to go 100% remote was.

Let’s waste our money on Workflow Tool so we know exactly how much work to send to other countries!!!

When do the layoffs in claims start? You know it's bound to happen sooner or later. Very sad. Allstate WAS a great company

But, but...Transformative Growth was supposed to fix everything!

You mean raising premiums, lowballing claims, laying off thousands of employees, and moving all service areas to third world vendors all while paying higher than ever bonuses to the ones making such decisions isn't working????

I'm beyond shocked! Flabbergasted even!

My buddy sent me to this site and now I'm scared does it mean they will cut national general and allstate identity protection? That's what our facility has. :(

$1.4 Billion loss for Q2, while Allstate Brand Auto has lost 1.2 million policies vs prior year. Nat Gen has some auto growth but combined auto is down 672,000+ polices in a year. No growth, profit, or earnings to repurchase shares. We have lost our way, as we cut staff and expertise in claims through the pandemic, and are getting outplayed through this inflationary cycle. Time for the Board of Directors to step up to the plate, replace senior leaders, and develop a new plan. Legitimate concerns about capital position.

Those cat numbers are tough to swallow.

One a different note operating expenses down about 8 percent first six months of 23 compared to 22

No surprises at all here. This company has shown zero desire, initiative, or actions to turn this train wreck around. It is almost like they want these losses. And maybe they do. Tom and the Big Cats still make their millions regardless of how much the company loses. It is the other 95% of us who get laid off or moved to a vendor and are out of jobs eventually.
