Stats on the pay rises

Everyone has been asking how much everyone has got...

Well Drummer said ~37,500 people in GIS were given rises and it cost the company $40m.

So roughly everyone got $1000 and the percentage increases were simply maths based on what your salary figure was to start with.

That was just GIS, but I suspect the same was applied elsewhere too.

He also admitted that it was below inflation level.

2025 is going to be the year of the mass resignation. We've all realised we won't be getting any sort of recognition in DXC. Next review December 25, and on past form that will be kicked out 3 to 6 months. Another year of this cr-p probably isn't worth it if you're nearing retirement. It's getting to the point it's well worth the risk just quitting and seeing what they do. Worst case scenario - get a job elsewhere on same or less money, but least you know it comes without any DXC cr-p attached. You'll probably get a rise and a bonus within pretty quickly which will more than compensate. DXC doesn't care, so it cannot expect it's staff to.

Do you have any other skills?, Project Management , Apps, Networks, Even Admin, best thing is to try and get out of that LOS its a dead end until they change the UK Newcastle leader, especially if you want a chance of a pay rise in the meantime.

No pay rise. No thank you. No Happy Christmas. And this is why DXC will not be delivering any client projects in 2025. DXC staff can deliver world class IT. Just not whilst working for DXC management!

@1tnk+1w2rviiP The whole place is run on pseudo paper forms i.e. Word and Excel documents that just get emailed around. Nobody left knows what form goes where. So even the management say I have no idea how to get you a pay rise or in fact get much done. You occasionally find somebody helpful who's in a good mood who'll correct said form and send it to the right place for you. But those times are getting few and far between. All this would work if people wanted to make a difference. 10 years with 2 pay rises but still around anyway, and the new staff earn more so they can do it if only they knew how - doesn't encourage people being helpful.

It would have been nice for DXC to pay a bonus for staff left out of the pay increase
I was put forward but didnt get a penny again!
Ebenezer Scrooge is real and works at DXC in the modern slavery team

Why do companies pay these creeps when their IT staff cant be bothered due to mismanagement (DXC prefers to waste its revenus on Manchester United and Ferrari) Would have been better to invest in the Muppets - at least they could have created a DXC board member as a Muppet - oh wait they are already muppets!

@grw+1w2rviiP Meanwhile people who do nothing, and should have been let go already got a rise in our team. If you met the HR criteria you got the bonus. No attempt to balance salaries. Should have just paid everyone the same if it's a cost of living and saved, what, almost 9 months management delay on this.

The company is actively recruiting my role on significant more. They think they can get in 9 men to have a baby in a month. I am the key resource with all the knowledge and skills set. But paid the least because I've been here longest. DXC could unblock everything with a promotion. It wont. So the project is going to fail, I'm going to quit, have a heart attack or end up an asylum. But I'm not teaching someone who earns 25% more. If the role is worth that money why am I not worth that money. Policy, greed, and short sighted management. Another client we lost I expect.

I feel for you left out for another year without any money at all, its disgusting.

Im UK ITO delivery, and got 0%, apparently the management decided that the money was to be given to some other people.

Whats the point of a merit if its going to be used fir pay adjustments instead of merit.

No point working hard, you dont get a merit.

The goodbye package for Salvino alone was 47M USD. Check out the FY24 proxy statement on https://s27.q4cdn.com/120381974/files/doc_financials/2024/ar/dxc-proxy-2024.pdf and see for yourself what the board of directors are loading on their bank account. Add to that the cash paid to the executive team (published on websites like https://www1.salary.com/DXC-TECHNOLOGY-CO-Executive-Salaries.html) and you will faint or fa-t.

In short 40M USD is a pi-s in the ocean and an utter disgrace.

40 million is a drop in the bucket, if executive management really cared they would forgo stock options , bonuses and take a huge salary cut till the tank and file can get decent pay raises!

Don’t say it isnt done , as the company my wife works for did just that !
