Employee Referral Program - Desperation

Bonus amount will depend on the job level of the referral. (L4 - £3,300; L5 - £4,500; L6 - £6,600 and L7 - £7,650). The bonus will be paid after the referral has been employed by DXC for more than 90 days.

L7 which is front line staff now nearly £8k for a £22-30k job referral.

Things must be desperate!

Leave the Glass Door reviews folks. They don't have money for pay reviews but do have money for Shouty, Man Utd and £8k for a job referral.

They are probably loosing contracts as some contracts have stipulations of X number of roles need to be fulfilled by Y time.

Sorry: @1tlg+1kvngyHd but I can't think of one case when the management have done the right thing and as for not needing devops staff you're clearly talking nonsense. The constant loss and churn of devops staff is having huge impact on large high profile contracts.

Can we please stop this Newcastle drama and new Orleans digital transformation center drama. Both of them are ideas which we were not able to sustain and bring in any business. so literally no business case for them. the management is doing the right thing.

Before you get all shouty @lpy+1kvngyHd you might want to check your facts.
DXC has two level based systems for referring to staff, in one L1 is our clueless CEO and in the other L1 is some fresh faced school leaver. That's why Workday has that little crib sheet of job code levels

And this is why the company is in the sh-t!! You work here and you don’t even know that.

L1 is Salvino !!!!

Newcastle DevOps decimated and staff still leaving.

UKI Cloud have lost very important staff in December.

Everywhere you look there are unknown locations in Teams.

I have seen similar situations. Anytime we lose someone with skills, they can barely back fill 2 levels lower for the pay DXC is offering. We end up giving up the position or accepting a new hire that cannot contribute to the required role. You can imagine how that works out over time.

Not sure which levels you're talking about as DXC has 2 levels that go in different directions.
Regardless given candidates for the level below mine were asking for 75% more than my salary and funnily enough when DXC said no chance , they didn't join. So I really don't think a bribe to existing staff to ruin their friends lives is the solution they think it is.

Until DXC pay staff properly they will have both an attrition and a recruitment problem.

Good way to make life miserable for some one who you dislike to get employed at this cesspool of a company. Otherwise wouldn't get my dog Lassie to work at this dump, glad I got dumped years ago and still Mcshouty hasn't done anything to improve and turn around this company - like Mikey no 1 done well for himself $$$
