Latest rumor I heard this morning ( 6/ 16) from a coworker was that it’ll be next Wednesday and Thursday, with 3000 across all sites. Not sure where the number is coming from, but the dates have been confirmed by a few people at HTC. Sad, in the 2 years I’ve been at L3, this will be the fourth round of RIFs
If you are coming to this site you obviously have some anxiety about job security and well you should. But why wait? If other opportunities are out there to present themselves, perhaps it's time to move on even if it means taking a minor loss in the beginning. It's a worthy price to pay for peace of mind. Perhaps it's time to leave L3 behind. Only a fool fights in a burning house.

Wait until the end of July when quarter results are out. That could predict a round of layoffs. Or if DLU targets aren't met.

It's telling that you're seeking information about possible layoffs here instead of relying on management to communicate directly and transparently about such matters, allowing employees to seek other opportunities.
