Why you can’t leave or take your foot of the tiger neck? It is often said that problem with putting your foot on a tiger’s neck is that you can never take it off!
It has become obvious that Sycamore Partners and many former Belk CEOs have been riding a Belk company angry tiger since this tiger was bought in December 2015 with leverage buy out and in debts ever since. It was foolish decision to get involved into retail distress business that Sycamore Partners have been so proud to buy it cheap! Because of greedy business style or stupidity or both, they run the company to the ground and proud of it. It would be catastrophic to abandon or leave now! It is safer to continue this stupid failures at Belk than it is to sell and quit? Someone once said that a big difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has itsl limits. A happy Belk worker is a productive worker. If Belk store managers, Sycamore Partners and Don The Con Hendrick just take their foot of Belk workers neck and may be something beautiful and productive and non toxic nice and working conditions will improve! So why are we Belk tigers are still in the nasty cage right now and not leaving? It is nothing personal at Belk. It is just business. So do us Belk workers a big favor and take your foot of Belk workers neck!

Tiger, mental health comment means that you’re beating a dead horse. You’re writing long meaningless articles about things everyone figured out year or two ago. Find something else exciting in this life.
I think there are a lot of Belk readers don’t understand or refuse to accept this hidden message of leave your foot of the tiger neck as a metaphor or observation of poor and micro management style of Belk and Sycamore Partners since they bought Belk in 2015 and badly running it to the ground with heavy debts and declared chapter 11 with low cash and bad business deals and call it’s big success restructuring at Belk! If you think this is an article about real tigers or paper tigers if you care to think deeper with hidden meaning and not about mental heath issue then you deserve working for this pathetic company! Belk does not pay you to think just poor associates, low pay and no future at this tiger cage!
