Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Any news on pay we're half way to Augusy5

Heading towards August has anybody heard anything?

Surely can't be that difficult to communicate the rise when the company is swamped by managers to inform the staff of simple % number.

What poor communication, come on Mike2 get this sorted your running a multi billion enterprise.

Have a town hall about "PAY UPDATE" if that's the only way you want to communicate.

Total FY21 Compensation: $21,733,120

4 weeks of Mike's pay is $1.7million, for the average worker he would need to work 40 years to get that.

Just think you if you only needed to work 4 weeks in your whole life and all your bills, and groceries are paid for your lifetime.

How easy would life be. Dream on you will be lucky to get your 10%+ raise your already behind on.

If you want that kind of big money you need to be able to talk the talk and do town halls waffle, spin, and twist and make "promises".

If you solve complex problems and deliver you'll get no bonuses or shares.

Learn to waffle talk, bull, not to deliver, and you will earn $$$$$$$$$$$$

The people on the ground have worked their ba--s off during covid to maintain service.

What more does mk2 want in order to give a decent raise.

Nobody's asking for 21million or 5 million USD like the HR lady and people at the top are awarding themselves, but its got to be something decent and worthwhile for the people at the bottom as well.

So we were told review in January, then March/April, then it will be in July pay packets, and still no email yet.

Someone saying "August" now, how can you trust this type of non management?

Sure stock options and exec bonus meet dates without delay.

Sad people.

Sadly, if you total up all of that compensation (roughly $60 million) and divide by 120,000 employees (who knows how many are really left), it only comes out to $500 per employee, so it's still chump change for the rest of us.

AMS is supposed to get a pay review like they did for APAC and EMEA last year, they said to get everything to market value. I know some guys in India that got 20% from their pay review…AMS is still waiting.

I asked my line manager if pay rises had progressed. They said yes, should hit Aug pay.

I jokingly asked if they were in the 1-3% range like last time (UK).

I was horrified when they said yes because I honestly was/am expecting 10% minimum

Mikey 2 promised rises, he said he is different.

Are we saying he is not speaking the truth?
He can't be trusted?
All the stuff he says on the town halls is lies?

Or is he going to save his reputation and trustworthiness?

Unlikely any pay rises for the people that do the work, been with CSC and DXC over 15 years ago and had 0-1% pay rises; worse in the latter years of Lawrie reign and seems little change with Mikey no 2.

Payrises are off either due to financial restraint or technical incompetence... That's the latest rumour

The only way you're getting a meaningful raise at DXC is to leave (or at least threaten to).

Not sure why anyone would stay with them in such a hot job market tbh.

Yup, they are directly from the FY21 SEC Filings (page 64 to be exact).

Exec pay figures are accurate. They are in the sec filings and board presentations for the public to see.

With that said. What a bunch of as-----s.

If the exec pay figures are true that's sickening, how can they say we can only give a 5% - 10% rise when they are taking so much.

How can the company afford their pay if that's case, I hope its just not all greed greed, and they have some sense of humanity and conscience.

Dilbert got a good idea about the managers benefits on staff working from home:

And you are discussing the 0% pay rise?

Final review stage lol 😆

That old one the "check is in the post"

Hopefully they don't tender for bids like this.

How complicated is the review, you know they have computers to work things out these days.

Maybe they have finally realised and are going back several years to make it a large payout to secure staff in a booming market.

It's DXC. Your pay rise will be zero. Why would it be any different?

Seriously guys, why do you think you'll get a raise? That's money that could go to Mikey and his cronies. Why would he let you have it?

We are still being told it's in the final review stage and should be communicated soon. This company is a joke and couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery.
