These ba----ds do not even leave small D&I and Asian networking events. They show up only to lick management boots. And the repeat post tagging all the managers and VPs is purely gut renching disgusting.

@5ggb+1gV0Kenh, nope. I learned it in the hard way before. Then I started to follow the rules, besides when I told them about their “mistake” . The layoff people left my comments for a few weeks and then the erase machine appears again. But specially when people referee to Permian, it is when there is more scrutiny in the message is applied.

It is funny to observe EM unfold into slow and sustained self-destruction through LinkedIn posts.

On one hand, the company that once prided on hiring the best and the brightest has now some of the worst and most incompetent employees left. There are a few good ones who are keeping their head down and trying to get things done. But for every 1 hard-working one: there are 100 of employees, supervisors, and managers who are good for nothing except singing praises for anyone and every one upwards.

Second: The bad apples that are left are constantly showing their true colors "fake leadership" and "Backstabbing" whether it is LinkedIn, Yammer, Diversity events, or random meetings with managers.

@1xcv+1gV0Kenh How long do you think it takes to make a LinkedIn or yammer post? If it takes you hours maybe you need to be out on a PIP. I bet most people can write a post in under 60 seconds. Also what time of day are they posting? Nights? Weekends? Grow up little man.

Making a LinkedIn post takes the same amount of time as making a layoff.com post so people posting that they are overworked doing the job of five people while others must not have any work because they post on LinkedIn fail the basic logic test.

We got few in the EMPTE who are trying to move upwards through meaningless self promoting LinkedIn posts. These people need real work. I guess they have lost their abilities to do anything useful so they are going full force on LinkedIn, and tagging even more useless bosses is an easy way to get attention.

Wow BK himself has posted now recognizing IT. Such a coward he is. A lot of folks are also using their personal stories trying to pulling emotional strings in a dire need to stop bleeding and hire more. All of these folks have completely forgotten treatment of employees and those laid off over last two years. Have majority of XOM employees got desensitized over everything that happened over last two years and continues as such? Stinking sh---y company and people are becoming like the company. The global IT executive is all over LI. He is shooting to over throw DW it looks like.

Worker bees like me don't give a sh-t because I have a workload of 5 people. It appears to be those in supervisory, managerial, VPs type role that have luxury to indulge in social media all day instead of doing anything useful to makes money for the company. Surprisingly, these suckers are rewarded at the cost of worker bees. And when the worker bees leave these suckers higher more worker bees to continue on there sh-t and no work! Yep, #WeAreExxonMobil!

One of the IT Executive posting almost daily (or so as it appears) doesn't seem to have any other work to do that simply posting pics of events OP mentions and alike. Must be good being an IT Executive at XOM. Big $$$ for almost delivering no meaningful work for anyone.
