Any experience on what is ConocoPhillips policy after turning the notice? Do they walk you off and cut your badge immediately?

Whatever else I could say about the company, I was allowed to finish my two weeks and collect my own things. That said, I made it a point that I wanted a respectful and professional transition. YMMV depending on your supervision and other circustances.
Best case they tell you to pack up and get out same day. I wasn't that lucky. They had me working 4 pm on my last Friday.
@1sno+1fNOOxcI I'd say this is a best case scenario. You still get your two weeks pay and you get to get a little vacation before your next job. I had resigned from a few places over the years and usually started a new job on a Monday after leaving the old on a Friday. I saw many get sent home for their two weeks notice. Never happened to me as I was usually training my replacement to take over. I didn't mind doing that as I was leaving on good terms and I got into many positions where the person that had the position I was taking over didn't help me at all and left me a huge mess to clean up and I never understood why someone would do that because you are upset with the company or moved on. Just move on, no need to sc--w the next guy over. I always compared this to the 2008 mortgage crises when people got in over their head and destroyed the inside of the house when they couldn't make the payments and lost the house. It wasn't the banks fault you made a poor decision, why destroy the property when you made a poor decision.
It depends on every situation. I’ve seen multiple favored folks giving 6 months plus notice and treated like kings (JL was given two years, until he fully vested), and others immediately walked out the door. Don’t keep personal things on your computer or your phone: if the company does not like you, you can be out the door in minutes. They’ll box up your “personal” stuff and send it to you.
Assume worst case scenario. You could be gone same day you give notice.
Depends. If you do it in the wrong place you'll get two to the back of the head and a clone will take your place.
They'll still pay your two weeks, after that it depends on a lot of things, security is paramount right now. Why should you care?
Seen both. Depends on the job role and the manager. If you handle info that may be considered confidential you will probably be out pretty quick. Otherwise you'll probably get your two weeks.
Haven’t seen a case when they do that. You express your plans/intents and they work with you on timing and transitioning. But I wouldn’t be giving notice if I am not ready to walk on a moment’s notice. Companies in Texas can send you packing the same day you gave notice if they wanted instead of accepting the two weeks or month or whatever your notice said.
