Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

How long has it been since you've had a raise?

I think I'm starting to see a pattern with people commenting across various threads. So let's try and put it all in one place. I'll start.

L4 - 7 years.

You receive no pay increase because you willingly stay here without one. Anyone with any marketable skill set and one ounce of self respect would find another job at a reputable company. Or, you have been abused for so long you are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. In either case, you get what you deserve.

Anyone saying they got a rise under lawrie is a board member posting. Nobody else got a rise or anything. No, the missing rises went straight in the pockets of the board. Straight up daylight robbery.

@1sfr+15wbvyR1 Hello Mr Salvino. Did you know DXC doesn't do rises? It doesn't pay the bonuses that are shown in our contracts either. I've been with the company 18 months. Worst organization I've ever worked for. Worse than ever now though. Lawrie didn't pretend to be anything other than what he was, whereas Salvino pretends to be 'people first' & 'great things for everyone', whilst cutting harder than Lawrie ever did. I'm off in a couple of weeks time, and will be glad to go.

I read these replies with a mixed sense of humor and disbelief. Anyone not receiving a pay raise for over two years must be rather worthless with no skills to find a real job. And people who have gone 5+ years with no increase are truly just wasting oxygen.

L2. Four years and no raise. However one employee who started on the same day as myself got a promotion and a raise last year because they were the manager's favorite. The rest of us are still waiting and deserve better.

I got raise last year because I was about to leave - I had offer from another company. DXC matched the offer.

Last raise after FPR was 5 years ago. I'm L4.

Oh, and the 401K investment offerings were sh–. Fidelity was much, much better. I didn't bother transferring that balance to DXC.

5 years. And always screwed out of bonus that was part of my employment agreement. And accepting the position was below my usual contract rate by a lot but I wanted to go FTE at the time. So as time went on, that margin just grew despite excellent reviews and attainment of my yearly goals. I'll go further and say that I just lost motivation and was coasting. Leaving, and the break it provided, is something I had to do.

L5, nothing since lawrie turned up at csc... Was that nine years ago? Probably was.

Prior to that nothing of significance anyway, not even cost of living. Despite top rated appraisals.

L2 - went 3 years, 18 months of those promises of a 33% bump. Got impatient and left last September (I was refused VR despite been in pools each year).

Leaving was still the best decision I ever made!

I hope things turn around for the people still working hard on the ground!
