What will Honeywell do when Putin takes Ukraine?

Aero relies a LOT on their Brno location. Will they have to close it down when Putin invades Ukraine? I hope the savings all these years were worth it! Aero will be in a world of hurt without Brno.

Ukraine will buy more weapons. Since all weapons will be late on delivery. Due to the fact that we rework everything. Since we got a bunch of people that don’t follow process. You get a lot of things done fast when you can just streamline the process.

Ukraine will be part of Russia.

Never worked in a company where you don’t get in trouble for following processes. This is what happens when all the management is friends. They look the other way when things get done fast.

This is why I hate bonuses. They created environment where they just look for really fast people to get record parts out. In return, quality is definitely going down the toilet. Prove is rework and excuses we give our customers. Since our parts always have to be reworked multiple times.

Hey @1qt,
I was wondering the same thing, why would Putin invading the Ukraine worry the folks in Brno?

Are we thinking of Hi---r's type of management in the former USSR?

Or... did we brain f@rt the price of curry in south Los Angeles in the event of china and Taiwan not working things out?

@1qte, though that is probably true for some posters, it is not true for all. Brno, in the Czech Republic, is less than 800 miles from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and is even closer than that to the Ukranian border. That is similar to the distance from New York City to Milwaukee.

Critical European gas supplies flow through the region. If I were in Romania I would also be nervous.

I love this post, thinking Brno is in Ukraine. Perfect encapsulates the level of talent that honeywell has been left with in their ranks over the years

What do the people of Brno think will happen to them if Russia invades Ukraine? Do they have reasons to fear a repeat of 20th century history? Asking because I am genuinely curious, not being a smart-aleck.

@bui: Newsflash to you. 60% of the Honeywell employees work outside of the USA. In this post the OP works in Brno, Czech Republic and is concerned with Putin invading a country 800 miles from his home.
It seems you are the fine example of US public schools when you can't comprehend something as simple as this. Read up on Czechoslovakia's history.

Better question is what will honeywell do when the war with china becomes public.
The war drums are beating. Taiwan will vanish soon.
