I know that shortly after this new three day rule was rolled out, they met with managers and were asked about employees who have no one else in their office location on their team. They said they were considering that again as they acknowledged three days in person may not make sense in that scenario. I take it nothing further has been said about this?

@1qii+1sCCzdkP then the comment suggesting relocation packages for those employees who wish to be in commuting distance of their coworkers doesn’t apply to you…
What if most of your team members work from home because they’re lowering bands so you’re the only one in the office?
Relocation is not an option for that.
“The company should offer a relocation package to employees who are not in a commuteable distance to the office where their team is.”
I received this option as did a few team members! Some took it, some prefer to WAH and didn’t.
If they practice what they preach then the company should offer a relocation package to employees who are not in a commuteable distance to the office where their team is. Otherwise the FOW mantra is bs.
Are you talking about the site restacks to colocate teams? If so there’s tons of info about it on iris so not sure what everyone’s yapping about
Translated from HRese:
We’re looking into it = we acknowledge that many employees want this, but we have no intention of doing something that might inspire more employees to try and work from home more often so we will never mention it again and only said it to offset otherwise bad news.
You or your manager should try and email Employee relations to get this clarified. Also to get in thier radar or the queue is going to be huge.
"I am a manager and was not asked about this scenario or FOW."
I wasn't asking if one of your employees asked you that question.
It was asked of HR on that call That was recorded and they said they were looking at it. I was just seeing if anyone had heard an update.
I'm a people manager and was not asked about this. I am also the only member of my larger team tapped to work in person at an office, while same level, same role team mates get to work from home due to building at capacity nonsense. Meanwhile, empty cubes abound. So yeah. Yet another lie from HR. shocking.

I watched the recording of the 4/25 meeting with managers about this (that was out on Vbrick) and they talked about it. That's where I got them saying they were looking at it.
