I just got an email congratulating me on my 10 year anniversary here.
It had a click segment to " view reward".
Once opened, I was given a Certificate.
Kind of Signed by Mary Finch.
No Mention of money or any kind of thanks.
Great company

: @1bgx+1qOdvMVW - 46 years! God bless you and your soul.
The ceo should have come personally for a farewell! But again we are among theives! 🙄
My 45-year anniversary was completely ignored, and the parting gift upon retiring after 46 years was a checklist of the equipment that needed to be returned. Needless to say, I’m beyond thrilled to be done with this soul-crushing company!
Don’t worry, Mary will get your reward
Along with the laughable 'long service awards' - my favorite was a framed 'Certificate of Appreciation', signed by six senior managers, praising me for all the invaluable work I had put in on a critical project, and how much they appreciated and wished to personally congratulate me for...
...which would have been fine had I actually worked on that project, or had any knowledge of that project, or had ever even heard of that project...
Nice $7 frame though...I keep it as a reminder that you need to recognize your own worth...and not expect the 'managers' to do it...because they don't care about you.
The old CSC 20 year Long Service award used to be £180, and £230 for 25 years.
20 year service award and as usual sweet FA
I was happy WFRed last year - best thing I got from DXC in 7 years
: @1qdd+1qOdvMVW I started at CSC in 2009 - 2023 what your saying is not true, I never got anything other then my salary while at CSC and then DXC
Even the former CSC company, which became DXC , had a choice of gifts after 5 years, a gold cross pen and pencil set, writing block or activity days and then after 10 years was loads of air miles or £75 Amazon vouchers. That all got scrapped when DXc came along. I got an electronic Christmas card from DXC one year and it said Happy holidays at the top and a giant white block with a red ‘x’ in the middle with image not found. I printed it off, just like that, with the red x in the middle and hung it up for a giggle, it became a talking piece. People would ask ‘what is that.’ ‘Oh it’s from my company DXC, they couldn’t afford an image!’ Of course they would then tell me about their Christmas bonus or bottle of expensive this or that, that their firm had given them. No, I just got this red image not found card. It seemed apt though and summed up DXC for me.
That’s 9 years too long. Why do you stay ?
I quit that joint 2 weeks before my 20th anniversary - glad I didn't miss out on a giant service reward by doing so (I say sarcastically). ;-)
Remember official executive opinion and supported by HR is none of us work for the money. But at least you got a certificate more than I did for 25, 30, 35.
I got the same thing with HP. I printed out the certificate of the HP garage and the color formatting was messed up for the garage! There was a text field that your manager could personalize before presenting you with the certificate. I went into the template and personalized the certificate for a coworker who was about to get his 25 years and sarcastically noted that this lousy certificate was all he was going to get. I posted it at his cubicle. His manager saw it and said nothing, but he had as much contempt for the company as we did.
Can confirm. Same thing happened to me last year. As if to say "Here's your recognition. NOW GET BACK TO WORK!!"
lol here's a 10-year-anniversary reward from me;

You should be happy, I did not even get a mail for my 25th anniversary, not for any previous anniversary. I guess it's because I'm just a grunt, those fancy emails might only be for managers.
Check your bank account. It must have been automatically deposited.
I got the same thing for my 25th year. You work at a place for 1/4 of a century and you get a certificate that most 5 year olds could make on a computer. what a joke of a company
