Well your a real wizard. You may not talk that way with a tube down your throat. Some say the dumbest people live in the US, you prove them correct.

It all depends on how you say you got infected. If you say you contracted it at work, the company pays you 2 weeks. If you say you got it outside of work then you get sent home without pay. If you say you have come in contact with someone out side of work who tested positive, then you will also be sent home without pay. All of this was sent out in the company email regarding Covid procedures.

Don’t go into any houses, throw a jack connected to iw in the window for copper, and fiber drop connected to ont for fiber. Leave bqw210 and iad for over 3 lines if needed on front porch. IHX will wire - register inside.

Either call in sick and go onto disability or just go to work sick. I for one am not going to stay home and self quarantine for no pay. If it’s between no pay and supporting my family, it’s supporting my family all day. I will omit the symptoms from any conversation with management everyday. During the height of COVID people who were at risk Or had kids k-12 could stay home paid (severely misused) while I’m at work going into houses. I get symptoms and the send me home I call Bs on that.

Bargained for employees: The company's policy pretty much forced your hand if you mismanaged your finances and live paycheck to paycheck.

Take a few days off to get tested and get better. Keep your mouth shut and keep going to work if you can so you get paid. Keep your test results to yourself. Your medical records do not have to be shared with the company under HIPAA laws.

@1qbr for those of us union, some of us aren’t fortunate enough to be able to afford a week off sick without pay.

Are you management or union? If management you are still paid. Only union employees go unpaid but they at least let you use PTO.

At least we don’t get attendance points right now for having symptoms on the covid assessment

We moved from management to bargained in Arkansas several months back and lost our paid sick days which was terrible timing with COVID. We also lost a handful of pto days and a bunch of other benefits. It was all a bunch of lies about joining the union. The company treats management employees with way more respect than union workers

That is only for union employees. Non-bargained still get paid. It is yet another failure of CWA to do c-ap for us.

From what I understand is that you can call off sick and use points and get paid. In retail we have to answer a some automated questions and if you fail that you have to report to your manager you will not get pointed and yet you will not get paid either. You can use any vacation or excused hours that you have for those days. Now if you are testing and it comes back you are positive you will get paid the 14 days no commission or pro ration of commission. Just paid hourly.

And yet, we're paying failed former CEO Randall The Rat Stephenson $3.3 Million a year to do nothing. Not that he was much of an asset to the company when he was working.

Is this your concept of equality that you keep emailing us about Big Stankey? Give millions to the filthy rich who don't need it and let the workers starve?

Interesting. T Mobile payed folks the whole time that their stores were closed at the height of the COVID scare. Guess that is why they are kicking AT&T's proverbial behind. Employee loyalty will overcome lots of company faults. A lack of loyalty will polish them and put them on display.

Paying employees who are sick should be a contingency of accepting PPP money.

You may be able to collect unemployment for the two weeks.

Because reps are paid by the hour and are not salaried exempt employees. It's a billion dollar company because it makes good business decisions, and is NOT a charity. That's the right move.

Why wouldn’t they pay?? Because they won’t let us come to work if anyone has been around someone who has tested positive. If I’m sick i normally come to work allergies, headache etc. reps are being forced to stay home by the company not by choice

If you're not working and don't get sick days why would they pay you? Would you work for free? Why should they pay you for nothing?
No wonder they want rid of folks like you who expect free stuff.
