Same old Allstate corporate schtick. This is how "Transformative Growth" starts for all areas. A little bitty change and a lot of blowing smoke up your arses of how great you and your area is and how important it is. Then a few months later more small changes and more up the ar-e smoke blowing. Then the deeper changes 3-6 months after that (this is where the Field Sales Leaders and associated roles will be cut) and trying to spin like you are the problem to demoralize and take any fight out. Let's ask the agents and their staffs how "Transformative Growth" has treated them a year from now....the agents and agencies that are left that is.
Literally no news - slight commission cuts to agents next year and a huge speech about how important the agent is.

A 9/1 shutdown? That seems very unlikely but would be huge news
All agents told they will not be renewed effective 9-1-23, any Allstate policies written before that qualify for commission but absolutely NO Allstate policies will be sold or offered after 9-1-23.
Claims does matter. Pays out about 70% of all money taken in for a profitable carrier. Do it poorly vs competitors, and your rates are higher all else equal. If uncompetitive, the death spiral accelerates. Not doing it well the past few years under Brandts leadership.
All agent Town Hall tomorrow - is it going to be shutting down lines of business or commission cuts? Almost hope for the end of the EA model and a transition to IAs just for it to be over.
Claims doesn't matter really. One of the easiest departments to move to a third world country and that soon will be done. For some reason that area thinks they are irreplaceable and they are FAR from it.
