If you are placed on a PIP to be fired. Then look at the list of states and cities below in which C! has to pay for remote working costs such as Internet, phone bills etc.
They are required by law to pay those costs so if you lived in one of the places below and never got reimbursed for remote costs, then when they place you on a PIP you demand they pay you for your past remote costs. This isn't something any company wants to mess with it means a class action lawsuit if it's not done properly and will cost them millions of dollars in lawyer fees and reimbursement.
