Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

When are employees going back into the office full time?

Why is remote work still going on? The pandemic is practically over. There’s no reason the lazy employees should not be back in the office every day full time by now two years later. Why bother having the buildings if the company isn’t going to use them?

So easy to answer this one: 1) don't have to pay for gas (gas prices are crazy), 2) ZERO commute time-zero stress from driving in traffic, 3) no waste of time from- sh@t, shower, shave, getting dressed, packing lunch, water, etc, so you won't get ra--d by $7.00 bottle of water, 4) no getting interrupted 50x per day by-poorly trained new employees who were advised (refer to your TM, 5) no interruptions from managers and/or "Goodwill Ambassadors, trying to give you some chips and a soda, so a person feels that they are "cared about", 6) no having to go the restroom and having to hear/smell other "leadors" sh-t, 7) no. 6 again, 8) no people questioning your decsions because of how you LOOK-relying on recommendations because they are based on intelligent analysis, ....one could g9 on forever.

It’s amazing that an epidemiologist joined this thread and declared the pandemic over. Thanks for taking the time!

Because many people are abusing alcohol from home. When we have to call people it is like playing bingo between hearing chirping smoke detector, dog barking, baby crying, birds, slurred speech after 1 pm, etc.

What tragedy in Dallas?

Why should anyone work in the office when it is cheaper to work from home and productivity has never been higher?

What difference does it make. Work for inflation and a totalitarian government at war with Russia.

The game goes on. You're going back to the office and same rank employee will go back to hub office or be replaced by another employee at the hub or not replaced.

OP is an idi...t. Forcing people back to that office environment will only make more people quit! Not to mention the outrageous monsters in leadership they don’t even acknowledge the tragedy at Dallas office recently and potential for future risk to anybody in those buildings!!!

Get rid of the office protocols and bring people back to work. If people are afraid of COVID, get vaccinated and wear a mask. The company has lost enough productivity the past 2 years with wfh. When people work in office it’s almost impossible to keep them off their phones. How much more is that happening at home? We know the answer to that. Time to get back in office and back to the business of helping our customers.

Span of control --- put all management and employees back in the office. Deal personally with who you work for. Find out what the "real SF culture is."

Yep, get those employees back in the office … that will make people not leave for sure. I’m always surprised by the mouth breathers that work for this conpany.
