Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Share price due to crash

Corporate bandits at the highest level. A big ponzi scheme run by the people at the top for themselves taking millions for missing targets and justifying themselves.

The shareholders need to look closer at what's going on inside the company, listen to these town halls which are a joke.

@2lwz+1quxmity - B-m investor.

Mate, Go on. PLEASE keep investing, we have a interim ceo and board member who once lead the co. Gamestop! (hope you can remember that story).

I guess in all of this, I'd ask a legit big investor to educate us on how they are getting paid or expect to get paid. Say more about how the company is materially improving. Long term investors are getting spanked hard, not in a naughty fun way for the last 4 years.

How do you expect to get paid in this turn around story. You bet on a turn around but why? If you believe DXC is winning in the market, will not keep losing bids or may cut cost faster than the revenue run off go for it.

They have sold or will sell most assets in the near term. They are left with the delivery and a best in class executive team.

There is a difference between those waiting for the cash out and the employees...

We (employees) are waiting for the good times... The investors are waiting for the pay day.

It's not the same

@2oqp+1quxmity You may find this hard to belive but I've done alot of research more than just reading headlines on google (why do you think i'm here?). I know CSC, Xchanging and EDS/HPs history, I've spoken to DXC customers. Lets talk about Glasdoor as you mention. When I look at employee reviews there I see that sentiment is highly influenced by geography. EMEA in peticular is very negative while India and the Philippines is roughly in line with the industry average if not slightly better. This appears to align with the posters on this board. I invest in turnarounds and I expect bad news it doesnt phase me unless its obvious that the company is imminently going bankrubt something that most resonable people here will acknowledge is unlikely given DXC's profitability, cash position and investment grade credit. In regards to the share price preformance to quote Warren Buffet "If you are looking to the asset itself, you don't care about the quote because the asset is going to produce the money for you." In otherwords a declining stock price doesn't matter. I've seen this same story over and over with other turnarounds and employees are usually unhappy even when the company's preformance is materially improving. So why should I listen to anonymous posters here many of which don't even work for the company (myself included) and some even verifiably lie. That makes no sense.

@1omf+1quxmity - personally don't care if you lose your $ millions, that your look out

Personally if I put money into a business / company would do large amount of research and keep doing this when you put in extra $$ Millions.

Remember that Mkiey 2 f%^^&& company and its share price by 75% ( even with push $$ share buy backs) - do Google research, simple; to show the hits of bad news, bad staff reviews as reported in register, indeed, glassdoor, .

Also easy to see how well a company is doing is doing a google say 5 years; share price of DXC since its birth. EG $60.0 2019, now $22.72 2023 - should have at least set alarm bell ringing

Personally as US Interest rates are not bad Federal Reserve interest rate 5.5%; put in long term bonds

@1vcu+1quxmity can't you see that turnover is decreasing qtr by qtr 10%.

They won't be able to maintain the fcf.

They keep telling you lies so they can milk the ponzi scheme for thier millions. Just think Finchy is on $5 million for a admin HR role if that isn't ponzi then what is. She said she did a annual merit pay plan 4 years ago, nobody's seen it. She's just been busy enjoying Mike.

Salvino reported several qtrs of book to bill below 1 over a 4 year period, but managed to talk his way out in the analysts calls.

These remaining VPsare absolutely useless lot, they think they can do the same, but this is way out of thier league, just give it 2 qtrs and the whole thing will collapse.

They need a new CEO in tommorow, Raul isn't even there.

@xut+1quxmity The harsh reality is managment and investors don't care that you hate your job or employer. If that where an issue then you wouldn't have sucessful firms with miserable employees like Walmart. DXC is profitable and generating good free cash flow relative to its valuation. I would by no means say everything is going well but so long as the present level of profitability is maintained for a couple of years the company can be broken up into pieces and sold off.

@vts+1quxmity if its doing that well 20% in FCF (Free cash flow) why are they saying targets are not bieng met and the figures aren't good enough. You can't have it both ways either your making 20% fcf and good profit or your not.

If you're making good FCf then you should pay the employees who are generating it.

The same can be said about the Employees who keep sticking around. People have been outraged here for a while yet DXC keeps chugging along and generating 20% of its market value in cash. I fail to see what exactly is different with this new interim CEO. Yes the exec team is overpaid given the talent they deliver but my thesis accounts for that. You'll prove me wrong when the cash flow plummets in which case I'll conceded to you but untill then I'll be sitting back waiting.

Shareholders - You guys must be real b-ms because you are seeing all the execs getting paid and rewarded regularly and the employees are shafted and you folks are all silent.

As a share holder I'd like to listen to these town halls but they need to leak first.
