What was up with that guy's goodbye video drinking a beer while driving? Anyone know if he is okay? It was sent to all of us and then crickets from the company....very disturbing.

If anyone has the video saved, please post it to youtube under an anaonymous account.
Athem/Elevance is one of many, many companies discussed on thelayoff.com If companies could get the posts removed, this site would have been gone a long time ago.
@2mxw+1oVqQ3VT that beer was open clear as day. There was clearly liquid in it as well. It seemed pretty full so not sure how much was consumed prior to it.
I was out so didn’t see it, however someone who did said the beer looked unopened…
Very very sad… I’m pleased someone cared enough and did a wellness check on him .prob scared of a legal liability….
@2mxw+1oVqQ3VT Buddy roo, I hate to break it to ya but legally they can’t do that.
you are full of it. There is no way Elevance Health can get these posts removed. People are allowed to exercise their first amendment right. There isn't anything posted of value on this site that someone can't access from pulse.
Stop your threats and your stupid rumor spreading.
I am a people leader. I was told that corporate is aware of this site and is working to get posts removed. So at this point, we don't know why posts are disappearing. Anyone stating otherwise, is guessing.
I really didn't think anything of it until the very end when he was drinking while driving but then put a letter up to the camera that said "no alcohol was consumed in the making of this video" or something like that so I was just like ok that's weird maybe that was root beer or a non alcoholic beer. Still thought it was very very strange......
@1ayc+1oVqQ3VT Please read my post again. I did not indicate anyone from the Anthem/EH company was responsible for deleting my prior post regarding the email distribution list used.
@1oct, this forum board is not associated with the company - they aren’t the ones deleting posts.
Site mods delete posts containing names and personal details, cause that’s against website ToS.
Also, avoid profanities, mods don’t allow that either.
My post from earlier today was removed from this thread so I will ask again. How did someone gain access to the CEO's group email distribution list to send the email to everyone in the entire company? Seems like a security issue. Let's see how long it takes them to delete this post again....
Someone should post it somewhere. Not all of us got to see it.
It’s a shame! I’ve worked with Jon and he was a good manager.
I got it, reported it as spam because it seemed sketchy. It didn't leave (and stayed open). Got a message from someone about it. Got to see it, and started hearing it went down, so I downloaded it before I couldn't watch it, when I first saw it I was VERY concerned that something REALLY bad was going to happen. Most of the comments were laughing at it too, which was also sad because this really seemed like a cry for help.
I got that email. Started to watch it, thought it was weird that dude was driving while recording his message. I chalked it up to an inane message from upper management and didn't finish watching, so I didn't see that he was drinking while driving too. Wow.
Were any contractors RIFd? Wondering if that’s coming next.
So sad what this company has become
Wow I missed it by a couple of seconds
The email was scrubbed from Outlook within about 15min. Agree with others that hopefully a wellness check was done. That video was a person in crisis. And, considering how many ppl were rifd Im sure there are others. Very sad
I reached out to his manager immediately after and apparently a wellness check was done on him
I heard it was sent company wide, I guess I did not get to my email quick enough and it was pulled before i could see it. How terrible that person must feel.
When you say, "sent to all of us", who do you mean? I have not received anything like that however, I would imagine the email could be scrubbed from Outlook\Exchange servers pretty quickly if necessary?
