Some HR sycophant just announced that we are heading to Portland to recruit at an “oSTEM” conference. The “o” stands for “out” and the conference is designed to recruit “out” prospective employees.
I can’t believe we approve travel budgets for this nonsense. Let’s continue to waste money on DEI initiatives.

Be clear with them - your s-xuality or how one self identifies is totally and completely irrelevant at work. The only thing that matters is whether you are competent to do the job. People at work simply could not care less about personal matters, not even one bit.
@1ocd, I get it that must turn you on and all that, but it's not relevant.
Chevron is a major sponsor of oSTEM to the tune of around $100,000/year which is more than we give most universities. Last year the conference featured a full day tour of the hommosexual aspects of the El Segundo refinery.
Here’s an insane suggestion- how about CVX just simply hiring the best STEM applicants?
newsflash...we'll never STOP recruiting
@OP+1v1AjFhR Not enough straight white men in the company already?
Diversity of people and experiences doesn't hurt you...
