Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

More chiefs

More friends being recruited at the top of the heavy sinking line. There's so many up there now that the labor pyramid is upside down with more highly paid chiefs than workers.

Dixy Appointed Andy Makridis, former Chief Operating Officer of the CIA, as a top advisor for the public sector. Makridis brings 37 years of CIA experience, including four years as COO, to strengthen DXC's collaboration with public sector clients.

Reporting to Chris Drumgoole, Managing Director of Global Infrastructure Services, Makridis will contribute his expertise in national security and innovative strategies. This appointment reinforces DXC's commitment to outcome-driven innovation and secure solutions for public sector clients.

I don't know why people (I) stay in sh-t companies but they do for whatever reason. Just quit is not the answer for many. Perhaps it's because DXC has given them (me) such a low esteem of themselves. Or maybe it's that they don't need the money or the hassle associated with a move. But it would be nice to work in a company that values its staff. It would also be nice to work in a company where everyone knows how to do their job and what they need to do. I think you're right the answer is quit and try somewhere else, work at DXC is already broken so, can it possibly be any worse anywhere else. And if it is, oh well you were going to jack it in and retire early anyway.

15 years of hearing the same 💩 with different names. Just leave the company already and stop your bellyaching

A bunch of former coworkers were all let go from DXC in the last couple weeks. They worked for cost plus accounts... so much for being safe under an account's umbrella. The Norwich CT data center is a ghost town. There's more wasps and hornet nests than people in the building now.

With ALL the "amazing talent" they bring in at the top one would think this company would be nearing the top as good or great company... but it still seems to only be on the top of a tu-d and win next to nothing!

Drum hasn't been running internal IT for some time now... Yes he didn't deliver the unified time system but I'm not even sure that's been an objective for some time now, along with trying to reduce the number of finance systems from hundreds down to a handful.

Both of those things are problems but also incredibly difficult things to achieve... Which is probably why they've given up...

@1adc+1v6DQG24 Drum has been poor, he has been in post 5+ years and hasn't even delivered the time system and other work he was tasked with.

Dave K is 10 times better than Drum yet his working under Drum.

Time 5milion USD per year Drum was moved on and replaced by David on a fraction of his pay.

The problem @1nap+1v6DQG24 is they will sell stuff they cannot deliver.
