Now they are supposedly sending Wire Tranfer, ACH and another group of jobs offshore. They are even having internal people train those new individuals. This is just messed up. Middle management came in last week to puff up moral. The message was "you are essential to the future of the company". How can you be essential if you were already told that you will be gone in 3 to 6 months. Why are local news groups not reporting on this?

Not true. Most of us in CA aren’t making anywhere near 250k (and are nowhere near Silicon Valley) and we still got laid off. They may be able to save $10k or so on an FTE but they just lost their top talent and replaced it with low morale, low trust, and a lowered knowledge base. “Strategic” decision my @$$

Departments are being laid off, EFCC in CA. , Trust partners, and more. All in CA and told to move or get laid off.
About right - why would you pay $250k for the same worker in CA when that worker in Fargo costs $120k. Anyone near tech can tell you the whole "hire silicon valley tech leaders to work in an old, regulated bank where projects can't have a 90% failure rate like Google" has been a disaster.

Need to see that Buy Now Pay Later charade and the braintrust that engineered, approved and championed that disaster fully flushed before it becomes a regulatory headache, a product and solution that has never turned a profit under any financial, earning or shareholder analysis and continues to lose money every day it remain operational.

The layoff pattern is targeting individuals, not business lines. They have algorithms now to determine who specifically should be cut to squeeze a profit out of departmental budgets
