Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

FY26 Salary Review Update

So because many of our leaders have spent so much time in town halls and team meetings, the review process will now take place in Q4 with the plebs getting the 0% pay increase in March 2026. Thanks Jenny. Keep kicking that empty can down the road!

@1my okay keyboard worrier!! You are very powerful and strong when you are hiding behind a screen. Do you not like it when someone else puts you right??!! How about you find something more constructive to do instead of suggesting that people should go “through the table”!! Grow up!!

@vp+1ka9p7vjp what a dur brainless you are, stop posting on here, you leave if you want to.

People are saying the Company is making a staggering $650 million a year and yet its not giving rises to the workers, not even $1. Its got nearly $2 billion in the bank. Absolute sh--e treatment.

Why arent they paying, people have a right to complain on any social media platform they want. You as an Exec should stop taking peoples money and quit.

@e3 why don’t you leave? What’s stopping you? Or is it too easy for you to be lazy and complain on here??

Making $650million this year, and have $1.9billion in the bank yet DXC wont pay employees. Just a bunch of liars at the top.

The company is projecting $650 million in FCF for fiscal 2026.

The 0.33x ratio of cash flow to debt means the company could theoretically repay all debt in three years.

And, if we adjust for $1.9 billion in cash holdings at the end of September (vs. an equity market cap of just $2.4 billion), cash from operations could repay "net debt" to zero in as little as two years (0.55x CFO to net debt ratio)!

As mentioned elsewhere, page 9 of the sustainability report (publicly available) says under risks
"as a people-centric company, failure to maintain competitive wages could lead to decreased productivity, increased stress for employees or impact employee retention"
On page 36 under compensation
"Our salary review process aims to align pay with market standards and employee's contributions to the company."
Apparently the report is up for a comedy award

@j0+1ka9p7vjp A lot of the managers are bent they wont show you your bandings, totally untransparent.

Even though they pretend to be your friend, they knew about this salary rise not happening, but kept on dangling the carrot to keep folks working hard.

You can't believe a word of what the Management say in this company.

@hy I can easily believe that.
If you want to see just how little DXC value you, ask your manager to show you your salary band details. Since last December they can view it in Workday, so no excuse not to show you

They do reviews every month. It's not hard to run a spreadsheet. The CEO brags about how much money they save for each month they delay. Executives get compensation near the end of Q1 (usually June). By the time Q3 and Q4 hits the financial news is not good and they justify pushing employee compensation until later. By then it's a new fiscal year and they claim they have to see how the year goes. Endless cycle of poor management, and worse treatment of employees.

Just in a call where they tried to spin this as a positive, look there will be a review. No mention it should have happened in Q3 and they were at pains to point out a review does not mean a raise.

No wonder leadership can get away with this cr-p

I no longer care if the company does well.
I no longer care if projects deliver on time and within budget.
I no longer care if it's done right, secure, stable, and easily changed.
Because quite frankly I don't plan on being around.
Why - because the company doesn't seem to care if I actually am. Regardless of what it says, they can scream all they like - but it clearly makes no difference to my salary here. The income no longer justifies the irritation this place causes.

Honestly after the last few years of the company talking about trust and delivery, they pull the no inflation pay rise again.

Absolute bunch of jokers. How any UKI leadership can stomach this is beyond the pale.

I hope people here listen to those saying, stop worrying about work, focus on your resume and networking now. Get healthy and spend time with family. The cuts are mostly political, so even if you work hard you may still get cut. Look out for you. If they sell or file chapter 11. You still getting nothing. Make relationships with the client and jump this sinking ship.

Jenny rag1 is a joke, totally untransparrent, all the leaders on the Town Halls have been saying the merit will be done. Someone has been lying all year long.

I'm going to tell the the client not to trust DXC lies from my experience of another year of DXC non pay rises.

The real joke is that email talks about wanting to be transparent but doesn't offer any transparency as to why the pay review they said last year would be done in October 25 is now moved to March 26. How about some honesty about that?

What sort of company doesn't want to motivate and retain it's talent? You do that my paying people properly and fairly. And then by creating an environment that makes work easy and enjoyable. Not at DXC!

We need to do more to address these issues, can anything be done? Union ? Strikes ? For years the workforce have suffered. Clients are unaware of the conditions we are under.

DXC also take on graduates year on year with government incentives like this place is a good place to work.. Personally I think we should do more to highlight concern to the industry this is a sinking ship and for clients to avoid until Management are competent. Not in the intention to bring down the company but for management to step in and address these issues.

At the moment they are service desk redundancy,
Lack of training time being allocated due to workload. Engineers managing multiple accounts, delivering and no merit.
Lack of confidence from the clients for us to deliver on some accounts.
The pensions system is cr-p, I'm sorry but with the lack of wage increases, your effecting your retirement by staying here.
The UK sector is a mess.
Then need to fix these issues at the core and that start with the workforce. Treat your staff right and they will deliver.
I'm absolutely scunnered with the company.

Best to keep expectations realistic. No pay raise is the norm, expect nothing else. Once you realize this, it is easy to accept. If you want a raise, resign and go elsewhere.

It was planned all along deliberatley, its not a annual merit, its bi annual now and thats if its happens.

After tellong folks it will be Aug, Oct, Nov why did it not happen? they can do mid year reviews without issue as it suits ther pay. it was planned all along.

The management are open liars and unfortunately they will take the company down as folks can no longer continue on deflationary annual pay whilst they take millions.

I feel sorry for managers in DXC. How do you keep positive when the company just craps on its policies all the time ?

Wasn’t one of the big things of $5m a year Mary implementing a structured pay review process ?
