So if you didn’t get vaccinated you get to continue wfh but those are of us that did get vaccinated are going to be forced back in the office. How is this fair?

Simple solution Post ID: @ervs+1e7bd4Ne , go get the vaccine.
I am supposed to be fired on January 27 for no vaccine. I’m confused by this post. My staff will be wfh forever but leadership will not allow me. Good riddance. This company sucks the life out of you and pays very poorly. I cannot wait to be fired from this he-l. At least I will be able to stay home and safe and no longer taken advantage of by this disgusting corporation.
People who post about how happy they are to be in the pool with the anti-vaxing, tinfoil hat wearing bottom feeders continue to show their ignorance of what a pandemic is and how they are preventing this from becoming endemic. The fact that a health insurance company would employ so many lacking common sense and any scientific knowledge related to health is really showing this place has gone in the proverbial cr----r.
Yall have fun out there and be safe...I will continue to wfh...Lol
BIG WIN FOR TEAM ORGANIC...IN GOD WE TRUST!!!
Oh how the tides have turned....
i just hope the premiums for not vaccinated are going to increase!
I know right? I got the shots so I would be treated better than those other filthy peons I consider lower than me! Now the tables have turned and they get the goodies I wanted?!?!?! Nooooooo it's not fair!!!!!
@3bdq+1e7bd4Ne: the vaccine was not ever going to stop anyone from catching Covid - it was built to boost your immune system so if you did catch it, you wouldn't end up in the hospital or dead. It is designed like the flu shot (which is only about 60% effective).
I get the flu shot every year but occasionally still catch the flu, and I recover much faster with the shot than the years I have skipped the flu shot.
My ENTIRE family is vaccinated COMPLETELY and everyone of us is SICK as Shiitttt!!! Does MFN think this vaccine is going to stop us from being sick even when we’re all vaccinated.. that MF is crazy as Fuuuccckkk!!! This is ridiculous!!!!
@1sno+1e7bd4Ne The unvaccinated are being approved for WFH in every state.. NOT just Florida. Many were approved last week in Oregon, Arizona, California and Washington. My guess is because of the critical work that needs to be done in Q1 with such staff shortages.
@2xir+1e7bd4Ne You really need to turn off the television. There is no proof the unvaccinated are causing variants. Many scientists, including the inventor of mRNA are saying the opposite, but you’ll never hear differing views because their all censored. That is hogwash. Viruses naturally mutate as well and the only cases of the new variant were found in the US were in fully vaccinated individuals. I think it’s pretty obvious we’re not going to vaccinate ourselves out of this at this point.
Clearly, Post ID: @2ggk+1e7bd4Ne, you do not understand what a pandemic is, how the unvaccinated cause variants to emerge, or how to reduce this to an endemic as quickly as possible. It is questionable to me how or why a health insurance company would want to employ people with such unhealthy attitudes.
@1mvw+1e7bd4Ne Anyone with a brain realizes that if they got the vaccine they are supposedly protected and shouldn’t give a cr-p if anyone else is vaccinated or not, especially since the vaccinated and unvaccinated can transmit just the same.
They should be losing their jobs for not complying with company policy not getting rewarded for it.
Nobody with a brain wants to work with people who are not vaccinated. A private company can do whatever it wants as far as a vaccine mandate as hospital systems have been doing for years. The governors in the States fighting this are doing this for political not scientific reasons. Wise up folks. Either we all get vaccinated here and abroad, or these variants will continue to keep the pandemic going.
They live in Florida
Do you know if the person who received the email is considered a Centene Corporate employee or a State Plan (market) employee?
Some states like Texas, Florida, and others have banned vaccines mandates for private employers. I have wondered how that effects Centene's ability to mandate vaccines, would that effect all employees that lives in such states, or since Centene's corporate office is in Missouri and some of the employees in those states are considered Centene Corporate employees then the ban doesn't cover them?
Or maybe the distinction between Corporate employees and State Plan employees is just for record keeping and means nothing, but then there is still the question; do state bans against vaccine mandates apply to the corporations headquartered in those states or does it apply to employees living in those states.
There is another post saying disciplinary actions plans are starting for people that are not vaccinated and we have this post saying some people are given extension on enforcement date, so it seems like there are different rules for different employees, just trying to figure out why there would be such differences.
I saw the email that they received which tells them they have extended the enforcement date to 6/30/2022. In the email it states they will continue to work from home and cannot do any face to face interactions. Sounds like a good deal to me.
This is very true..its already happening and I know someone who didn't get the vaccine because they were against getting it ( no exemption)and was told by the company they will revisit the issue later on in June 2022.
This is not true. Where did you get that information from?
I think it should be the reverse. WFH is a privilege, so those who gave a real medical reason not to get the vaccine and the vaccinated should be given the option to go into the office. Force the other unvaccinated into the office and they have to wear a mask. Obviously those refusing based on beliefs think the virus is no big deal so force them into the office. If they catch it, then that is the chance they took. Most of them think it is no big deal, and they will recover.
It's not - but since when has Centene ever been fair? Centene has always rewarded bad behavior - look at how many incompetent managers, directors, and vps there are in certain departments and how many hard workers have been laid off or left.
Easy solution. Don't get the boosters when they make it mandatory.
