What I want to know is who is moderating this board? Every post I've put here for the past two days has been deleted. What's wrong mr/ms moderator? Are you afraid of me calling out the truth about what goes on inside?

This will not work.

It just creates more division and racism. Many cities have tried to give contracts to "minorities and other underserved" for public works/construction/buildings.

People just create "shell" companies that are minority or woman owned -- get the business & then just contract the work out to whoever. They get rich & nothing gets solved.

What's the definition of "underserved"? It's ambiguous. .

Where did all the BLM money go? To the creators million dollar estates and family members. That really solved a lot!

Well my friend, the pendulum is swinging back to following the law and to fairness.

Universities are on notice that they can no longer discriminate.

It will come to corporation soon enough. It might take 5 years. It might take 20 years, but eventually everyone will be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

Making up for past wrongs is no reason to continue discriminating. Just be fair in hiring.

In vendor selection, economics should drive the decision.

It reads wrong because those firms have had all the advantages for, well, pretty much ever. Evening out the playing field is a good thing.

If you replace some of the targets of the promises with "white", you'll see that there IS something wrong with this at a moral level.

Contracts should go to vendors that supply the best services for the least value, irrespective of race, color, creed, preference, etc.

Just like the supreme court recently ruled that you cannot discriminate based on race, this sort of virtue signalling will eventually come to an end.

There is nothing wrong with any of this.
