I heard the hybrid model got bad ratings. Anybody hear anything else? Any possible changes because of the feedback?

Why such a "strong vociferous push" on this forum for a hard-nosed inflexible return to full time in office work? We are being asked to do more with less - working much longer hours than pre-pandemic, when high intensity was more sporadic. Full time office work means up to an hour or more commute each way for some and more economic burden on employees in terms of much more money spent on gas at the high prices and resulting carbon footprint, and increased wear and tear on personal vehicles, at a time inflation is many times the pay raises we receive.

The Hybrid survey was bad since many still want to WFH. Agree full time WFH is a non-starter. Hybrid makes sense. For those that like office work - you can work from office 5 days per week. Nothing stopping you.

Intentionally making things harder on employees at a time when everything else is already harder doesn't seem right.

Many want to work hard, make a difference for the company, but also have some flexibility to enjoy their lives outside work, with whatever sliver of time is left.

This depends on the specific position and employee. Some need to be in office 5 days per week. Some can WFH most of the time. For most non asset based techical professionals, some office and team building time is important, but flexibility is. 2 or 3 days/week Hybrid with some flexibility makes sense.

For those that suggested if the work could be down remotely then it could be done from a low cost international location that may be "technically correct", but do not think the highly skilled & experienced US or similar based employee would want to relocate to the low cost international location to do the same work.

No need for us to be in the office. People need to progress with the times. If you desperately need face to face interaction head to a bar. The productivity is better at home. For all the people desperate for the company to cut costs how about we sell the real estate and cut the costs on the building maintenance.

Those against WFH and hybrid models and want e drying to return to the office everyday have lost their minds. This isn’t the 70s anymore, no need to go into the office where you are spend more time chatting it up about useless BS with your even less productive coworkers.

Chevron will never go back to full time office work.

Yes Indeed. As soon as they cut out all of the useless deadwood the hybrid foolishness will be a thing of the past and those left will be happy that they have a job with generous benefits for doing little to nothing. If you don't like it , buh-bye - don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!

One option management is considering is 5-days inside of the office since hybred is such a failure and WFH is call non-starter.

I heard it may change to a 2 day work schedule and/or being able to choose the days you go into the office for the week depending on your meeting schedule.

It is certainly a shame that there are many here who cannot perform their job within said model. I bet other companies with more trustworthy employees would do just fine.

Hybrid is working. I think the issue is people need more flexibility. Collaboration and team building is important, but we don’t need it 5 days. Once summer starts and kids aren’t in school I think it will be more successful.

Heard similar in the sense that employees don't understand why remote isn't an option for those who can perform their job in said model. Que the HR down vote and boomers whining about millennials.
