Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Atos’ past, predicts DXC’s future …..

“Atos two-way split announced in June: faster growing (Digital, Big Data and Security businesses) and declining units (datacenter and hosting, digital workplace, unified comms, and BPO)”

“Two new divisional CEOs named - Group CEO #1 resigned over the strategy, just months after being hired; Group CEO #2 leaves at the end of this month - Group CFO is also departing”

“Under the move, Atos – whose losses are widening – waved goodbye to 12,370 employees in the first half of this calendar year alone”

@1mlg+1iI0wsWp,
Stop licking Selfino's a*s and tell that w⚓ to stop stealing our hard-earned cash and pay us what we deserve. Or at least the COLA that we are entitled to.

Atos (UK) made a huge mistake in 2015, when they changed CEO. The new guy decided to focus on ITO and Managed Services, and started to run down the areas that are now 'faster growing'. So they've got a big recovery to try to make in the UK.

DXC by contrast has been running down every area of the business since before it was even DXC. Cut, cut, and cut some more seems to have been the approach even when it was CSC.

Atos may be able to come through this with some sort of viable business. I'll be very surprised if DXC survives at all. Most likely outcome is that DXC will sell off the most viable parts of its business, and quietly shut down what's left before it disappears into history.
