Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

CPM FAQ no longer says that ISP will have the same package as VSP

Small detail but it now has separate info for ISP saying that ISP package details will be given with termination notice.

Those denied VSP will not get a package

Less than 2% of my group took VSP/ERP, leaving 8-13% remaining targeted for ISP. True performance issues (active write-up or CAP, not Insights) will be let go first and are unlikely to receive any package - they could have taken VSP… the remainder are likely to get the same package as VSP.

It baffles me why so many people keep believing the same folks update revised comments. They lied. They continually keep moving the goal posts. And everyone nods why says yes yes…. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!

I would be surprised if that is really the case. But the signs are there -

  1. Apparently not all VSPs were accepted (avoided paying packages)
  2. Tell employees packages are same for ISP so many don't apply for VSP. Then turn around and cancel ISP package so now they don't pay any packages for ISP or the VSP rejections

Smart move but I doubt they can get by this. There will be major uproar and negative press if they do it. Not that Pat cares as he prepares for a fire sale

And you still believe them? They are clearly trying to get off the hook on these. Let me ask you how many times do they have to lie to your face before you get mad and stop believing their words?

“ no longer says retirement eligible gets the ERP package either.”

Yes it does. Question 6.2 says very clearly that if you get ISPd and qualify for residency you’ll still get the enhanced retirement package.

There are no grounds for lawsuit, unfortunately. There wasn’t a signed contract etc to this. They are allowed to lie to us. Yes it is a terrible look and people will get pi---d and say that’s fu---d up. But it happens. It happens a lot. They will forget about it and us in a week.

Some have screenshots of what he communicated. Definitely grounds for a lawsuit if they change this. And they'd for sure make America pi---d! It'd be in their best interest to not go there.

Are you people dense? I just checked the FAQ. It used to explicitly say that they were the same package. That language has been removed and the FAQ now says that details of the ISP package will be shared during notification.

Majority of VSPs were denied. Because we can’t afford to pay them. ISP is same as being fired. They do not have to give any packages for ISP and they won’t because they can not afford them all

It’s not enforceable. They have said similar lies in past. Why are you guys still believing them? They are lying and going to keep lying until 15th. Do something! Before you end up nothing. Ask for it in writing from your manager.
