Pay increase after leaving DXC

I guess DXC expects us to be satisfied simply with the fact that we have a job at all. Well, I'm not. How much of an increase did you get after you left this place? I have a friend and former colleague who got a 40% raise in another company, and his new job is no more stressful than the one he had here.

I left DXC about 14 months ago and my pay has gone up by approx 40%. I am currently at a large French-owned IT company which isn't Atos. Like any large company, bureaucracy and accountability can be a challenge but honestly, compared to DXC, it's an absolute dream and I don't get lied to and gaslit by that sociopath Salvino and his gang of asset strippers.

30%, plus bonus. I should have left years ago. It’s a shame as the UK based people on the ground were great to work with

According to my former DXC boss I was top performer within our team and he pretended that it is also reflected in my salary which we both knew was BS.

Well when I left I got several offers all with 150% increase and I am already looking on getting to 200% by end of the year.

Job market today is crazy and if you really have some skills its pretty easy to make some serious money if you work for any other company than DXC.

Lol. we were all answering the question as abstract as it was. Yes - life is better. Yes - there is more money out there. Yes - it takes just a little looking and registration with recruiters and prep for interview. There is only so much we can do. There are loads of IT jobs out there and not necessarily at the big companies. just register on linked in and within a week you will get random recruiters trying to contact you, which can become a pain in itself after a while. But ok, if you want us to hold your hand and walk you into a job then fine.

I was on what I thought was a good wage, but still got 20% more after leaving and within the May pay review I had just made the 6 months eligible service to qualify for a further 3% pay review which the firm said it couldn’t really afford but did anyway.

40% in late April, then guaranteed cost of living raises each year, (5% was granted in July) on top of normal merit increases that average 3-6% depending on the year on your anniversary.

Why is it difficult to believe someone getting a 50% raise after leaving DXC.

Mike has been getting 50% raises last 2 years so it means DXC do under pay market rates according to him getting 50%, otherwise why would he pay himself such a large increase.

Same for Mary Finch HR.

So it's reconized in DXC by the the main man and HR vp that they underpay staff, entitling them to raise their pay by 50%.

Wonder why they don't increase the pay of staff recognizing they are underpaid.

u+1hMtf0Jm - good call ; although many foot soldiers do work max at CSC and now DXC but their wages are suppressed down to the floor and only rises they get are increased work load - forced / bullied to work extra hours like weekend to meet spiteful bosses and their stupid inept control of trying to be in charge in this rat house. The only escape is 1) WFR 2) Getting a new better paid job & better T&C's 3) Medical break down

Glad that no 1) came to me in the end.

You are very welcome to look around, if you have the skills. But expect to do real work - not just being in BS meetings all day and deflect work.
