Networks Strike 2025

With the Annual pay merit review due in April less than 10 weeks away as usual we are taking the lead in Networks. No pay, no work.

We are doing nothing, i only got 4% last year and thats not enough, in AT&T we would get a bonus and a rise, by February we would be meeting the Managers and by March we would know our award.

Folks please take a step forward, join Network Engineers and proactively to get our raises.

The Strike is going to go further as they are holding onto pay rises. Networks are now totally fed up with this $hit, watch out Rawol your going to feel it.

Good plan Networks I'm with your leadership, agreed Rual needs to listen to the Senators clip, spot on Execs taking on big rises and giving nothing to the folks until the CEO is embarrased by the Senator.

They need to do an interview with Rual.

Rawol needs to listen to the Senator, greed at the top no longer acceptable.

DXC fiscal year doesn’t end until March 31. They won’t even start thinking about a compensation review until June (Q1 next year). But before then they will make you complete your annual performance review and goal setting.

Its nearly March now, not heard anything on rises.

We used to know our bonus and merit by now in AT&T. DXC have no more excuses left, they finally fired the incompetent Finch because there was no employee engagement on the survey (finally got the message).

Now you have hired someone new who should be able to work out a simple rise amount, make that announcement of what it will be. Otherwise nothing has changed.

In the meantime the Networks strike continues.

Im off all next week, not heard anything on pay and were heading towards March.

Join us in Networks got to make these people pay, they are taking millions for failure then sending silly emails asking to close the quarter so they can get their bonuses.

Networks also deserve a free bonuses and if you dont give it we will take it.

@1jx+1jj7kzwje We do what we want, we have told our Networks Management and they are with us.

You can bleat what you want but next time you want a Network Engineer we will make you wait.

By this time of year AT&T would be working out our bonuses and pay rises, whilst DXC would be telling you they dont have any money to pay you, but would give millions to the Execs.

Grow a PAIR, Stop being a a-s li---r, Get real and start behaving how they treat you. Otherwise nothing changes.

there is no network strikes. If networking was on strike it would end up being raised up to executive management and you would all be fired on the spot. Which I think they really should do if you’re not working on strike as it were then you’re holding up all of us other people who are trying. Customers and have DC make some money.

You liked it so much at AT&T then try to find a job back there again and if you can’t grow a pair and be a professional and get your a-s to work

But according to Workplace and now Engage, Erskine is the promised land, a truly amazing place, filled with joy and wonder where everyone is on the happy bus.

Seen that they are recruiting more Network Engineers in the bloated Erskine site, biggest white elephant in DXC after Execs pay. There are already plenty of us Network Engineers with little work to do. Why dont they save on recruitment and pay us more.

The only benefit we will get is more free strike days, i would prefer some money as well.

Good companies understand that it's best to pay a near fair wage to people who contribute, and kick out the people who can't or won't perform. They do this by applying a grade structure for every job role so that everyone knows where they stand, what they will get and what roles pay more. And are fairly sure they get the same as the guy next to them.

The DXC way is that you have to negotiate a salary when you join. It never changes when you get a new role, it never changes when you learn more. It never change no matter how many or how few hours your put in. If you want more money leave (company stated policy), or run yourself a side hustle.

@zk+1jj7kzwje total incompetence, didn't get a raise in 2024, April is the merit review month, they cant keep slipping it months then years.

You cant have a review every few years, its called an Annual Merit!! They want everything but give nothing, scammers.

DXC won't be doing an April 25 pay review - it just did a December 24 review. December is the new April. In fact you can easily slip it around the calendar a bit further and start again April 2026. No way will you be getting another one 4 months later - come on this is DXC after all.

There was no pay rise last year and some got a small delayed raise in December, this year were near April and yet to hear what the raise will be.

The VPs have no problems issuing their raises on time every year, why not delay them till we get some GROWTH??. Seem a no brainer if you can do it on time for the Execs you can do it for the workers. Wake up Mary and smell the coffee, you can't use the same excuses every year or you shouldn't be doing the job.

Great work Networks Team i am on board.

Engagement is at an all time low across many industries. Organisations used to get it right, but lost all scene of how you go about a win-win. So the fat cats decided companies weren't there to give humans meaningful rewarding work in a fair and balanced collective aimed at helping everyone, but instead to funnel vast profits into the hands of a few. At which point employees stopped doing their best, and are now always on the look out how to damage their employer or colleagues and get some of that fat catness for themselves. Why help your colleagues get a pay rise, cos you know there's only one available in your team. So it has to be you who wins!

No increased pay, and no work uou all should be fired for cause and get no serverance or redundancy pay. You are paid a salary and are so called professionals , if you dint like joe DXC is treating then change employment if uou can and if you cant then shut the duvk ip and do your job. We in other areas depend on networking to fix the problems you cause so we can run our systems and support our clients

Good news that my planned pay rises for past 6 years gonna to greedy troughs at the top including Mikey 2, probably gone to most of the players at Manu UK United FC and probably paying Lewis Hamilton wages at Ferrari.

Working to rule, doing nothing more nothing less than my 40 Hours, Waiting for WFR or for me to retire from this dogs dinner of a company

We're all on strike in our own little way. Like children we've pushed the boundaries, and discovered, you don't actually have to do anything much useful to get a pay rise or least the same pay rise or none as your colleagues. And you don't even get kicked out for being utterly useless. Managers can't or won't let you go. They want their empires and know they would have double trouble justifying re-hiring at market rate, and cannot get anyone already in post who earns less to even show these people where the coffee machine is, let a lone how to do the job properly. Most of the management and staff are now from that set who've been here forever - the game is hang on a year longer and then just retire. Don't need the money, don't need a reference, so don't expect any effort if the company won't pay for it.

“how costly the tower is on AT&T enhanced pay”

Not exactly sure what you are trying to imply here, but AT&T gave us fair pay review each year unlike what DXC has done with all its employees,

All I can say is I’m glad we were outsourced otherwise we’d still be paid peanuts and if you’re paid peanuts you get monkeys.

A few i deal with told me that they have too many engineers and not enough work, alot are running on 40% on golf, some decent ones are producing the goods very busy. The useless ones over rule the manager and he cant assign them anything.

The manager is also part of the game in that he doesnt want to lose any headcount as his not allowed to recruit.

The top dont know whats actually going on in Networks and how costly the tower is on AT&T enhanced pay, so the game carries on.

I worked very closely with 3 network resources on one of the largest accounts. They were excellent, they did not skip work and always solved our issues. Some of the best resources tech wise I've ever worked with. Dont paint all of the network team as weak.

@c4+1jj7kzwje correct we can bring a plane Network down, we have already told our bosses dont mess with us and they have to back down.

As my colleague already said we are used to pay and bonuses every year. We are on a good pay level and want to maintain it. You guys can keep taking pay cuts the DXC way every year or join us in action.

Told my boss im on the Golf Network this week, no pay we play.

DXC needs a coherent workforce all pulling in generally the same direction. That is not achieved by people who feel they are significantly underpaid in comparison to the market, and certainly not in direct comparison to their peers working on the same tasks in the same team. DXC has lost all scene of what needs doing and how to do it. When they can stop everyone moaning about their pay - they might be able to focus on delivering a service again.

Hey Networks, why don't you grow up and accept what you have been given?
I accept your grievances, but you going on strike will affect everyone else who wants to help their clients.
Just stop being childish.

So yes this time we really believe the big brave Network teams will do something that is noticeable, really

You should talk to American Airlines - they noticed the Network team not doing their job recently!

Yeah yeah, pull the other one its got bells on.
If you went the town halls you'd know next pay review is allegedly in October not April. And for all the posts on here about Network going on strike, no one outside of networks are aware of your actions or even of your existence.

DXC did it's pay review December - you won't be seeing another one for at least 12 months and then expect it to be pushed out another few (6) months as per all previous years. DXC won't be doing a pay review for staff in 2025.

Meanwhile can Networks turn the whole thing off, and stop anyone doing anything so that we basically don't have to even show up. Much appreciated.
