anybody here able to share the link of the exxodus discord channel? I've heard several times there is a channel for people wanting to leave XOM, I am currently doing interviews outside and want to get insight from people who transition to FAANG from XOM. thanks

@1jvz+1fqUyWiD You can block things just as much with the app as a browser…they prefer the app because you get notifications which draws you back in, you get more traffic with it. They also aren’t in bed with employers, their monetization structure has nothing to do with employers.
Occasionally comments with full names are removed, but every other post stays there, there’s no censoring really. And most people who left have just kept their XOM login, it doesn’t verify that you currently work at XOM, just that you did when you created the account. There’s people on there who use it instead of creating an account with the new employer, to both see the XOM channel for what’s going on in the company and to help others get out if they do wish. I’ve given referrals to people through there after having left for Amazon and someone through the XOM channel gave me a referral to Microsoft when I was still at XOM.
OP, you can also scout LinkedIn for former employer XOM and current employer FAANG company. It’s not a great way to search, but doable. Or search for #exxodus etc and you’ll find mostly xom employees, then filter by current company for FAANG.
You don’t need to create an account to get value out of blind. You just can’t post or DM. The EM group there is mostly empty now that everyone has left.
What I did was make a blind account with my EM address after I put in my two weeks. What’s HR gonna do now, fire me?
Blind is in bed with employers, just like Glassdoor, they make money by selling information to companies. Have you ever wandered why they want you to use the app and dislike web use? The app tracks everything from where you are to what other things you do, while on the web you can block things, etc.
We need discord or telegram group. You have to have an active XOM email address in order to register in the ExxonMobil channel at Blind.
