They are going to outsource all of Claims and Service. It’s a race to the bottom with no end in sight except big paychecks for the execs. They hired pwc to be the hatchet men for the rank and file. The managers will get cut right afterwards.

These VPs at the top are only in it for themselves. They are shipping American jobs over seas only to help their own pocketbooks and they are destroying a company that is in sound financial standing purely to get their own bonuses and stock options from the sale to progressive. TW and Gupta should be ashamed.

I question this post, I know what "Claims" is but what is "Service"? Never heard of such a department and if someone works at the company they haven't either.
FSL's on the chopping block later this month. Just as well - they add absolutely no value to the agency force.
OP is right, they are looking to d-mb down the process in claims with the LAT Tool, FNOL transcripts, and now this "Strategic Alignment" task. It's all to d-mb down the investigation process so Pune can start handling claims investigations in states where a license is not required. I believe within 5 years we will see Pune take the reigns in the claims department and most of us will be tossed aside like trash.

Gupta should be fired. Nothing works. He keeps getting bonuses for cutting. TW only cares about the money.
I agree. I think that's the plan eventually. I wouldn't worry though. This is a hot market for workers so if we get a severance take the cash and move to a new job
Gupta should be fired! He shut the company down 2 weeks ago with his inept computer system. Agents, direct, and internet could not conduct business. He blamed it on a vendor. Meantime, many agents missed variable comp because of his blunder.
IT should be first. When have they ever come up a product that works? They can’t even get you a laptop when you start.
IT will be next. They never deliver. Gupta is going to try to get his India cronies to help him start a new company to run it.
