Thread regarding Belk layoffs

this seems like company that operates like a pyramid scheme.
all the money goes to the top and the rank and file are not even paid a living wage.
most companies that operate like this eventually fold or someone at the top gets charged with embezzlement or fraud
whatever the case may be here, with huge pay gaps between positions one or two notches above, something is wrong.

one of the Belk group VP's is making close to $500,000 a year (working just 4 days a week I might add).....Makes that $190K seem like pocket change.

We are all born with stupidity and ignorant thinking all the time or sometimes, but one must work hard to remain 24/7 stupid all the time! Either Belk corporation is so weak has no plans and continue hiring these overpaid salary RVPs to be their leaders at Belk, then the real question is stupidity is a real disability at Belk or what a great opportunity to be working for $14 and yes competitive pay!

I dare the sick person to trade places with me for 1 month, like in those doofy trading body movies. The RVP would hang him/herself within a week. Guaranteed.

Takes tough people to live off of near to/completely nothing, or check-to-check. Not everyone is fortunate enough to get $$ thrown at them just to run from building to building and have an opinion.

I would suggest that RVP make every effort to make his/her self un-alive as soon as possible, anyway. Improve the gene pool and increase morale at the same time!
