The supply of fossil fuels is down because of politicians and their policies world wide especially in the west. This is the driving factor in everything when your economy is based on fossil fuels. Everything from the food you eat to the electronics you waste your time on are made with fossil fuels. So gain, vote wisely.

Cost of living crisis” Elections have consequences. Vote wisely. Another id--t, Cost of living going up is a world wide issue. Supply and Demand is why costs are going up, if the supply becomes equal or greater than than the demand prices will stop going up and may go down

US health benefits have a significant double digit increase in cost for 2023 to add to the misery

It is the "cost" is preventing the "give" from going ahead, resulting in a "crisis" for the rest of us :-)
On a serious note, I am not trying to trivialize what is truly a grave issue.
People are struggling to make ends meet, and DXC is just prtending that things are BAU... it is not !!
The only remedy is to leave.
The only people who should stay are the ones with a large enough stake in a redundancy package, and those who are close to retirement... the rest should just walk away.

But wouldn’t they have to “give” to be affected by this.
