@1jew, reflect on the past few years and tell us, how has Honeywell's treatment of employees been anything but heartless and dehumanizing?

Also note that NJ's current strict quarantine requirements arose only after an entire nursing home dropped dead of COVID and folks from NY went to Lakewood to party in violation of crowd restrictions, etc., making NJ a laughing stock in terms of virus control.

Note also that the practice of office relocations and forcing people to take the transfer or quit has been around for decades and is not specific to Honeywell. Sorry for the inconvenence, but you might actually like Houston.

It is about time. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out TX is a must better business environment than NJ. Plus it will save tons of money as it relates to salaries, taxes and overall operating expense being in TX. Not to mention state monetary incentives to move your business to TX. The tax and spend liberal policies are the primary cause of company and businesses leaving NJ. You get what you vote for and what goes around comes around, therefore you need to keep that in mind when you vote!

Let's find the upside here...since Texas has no state income tax and great TexMex restaurants, Jersey transplants will have extra cash in their pockets and can drown their sorrows with excellent margaritas.

Those "few dozen" employees still have families and lives that will be uprooted by a move. How dehumanizing that the only options are to move from NJ to TX (a state that has been dealing very poorly with COVID) or be let go without severance or anything. Truly heartless!

If you are PMT HQ (And not advanced materials) and you werent chosen to move, then your position is being eliminated and back filled once in Houston. Start applying! Only 70 chosen to move with Honeywell

70 employees are to go. What is going to happen to the rest of us in Morris Plains? There are maybe 200 others left (if that). Get your resumes up to date everyone!

Impacted a few dozen employees only, who could have easily been absorbed in other HON businesses within NJ,NY but forcing relocation in midst of pandemic is the HON way
