Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

How about a different approach ?

Have happy and engaged employ by linking their pay to grading on annual reviews with top performers getting over inflation rises. Middle ones getting inflation based rises lower ones getting no rise.

Can I have £5million a year please for this advice ?

Where in LinkedIn? Every time someone says that I don my hazmat suit and brave the vomit inducing waters of LinkedIn and it's just the same old rubbish. "Mike's so great" etc etc.

@1xlx here, trust me @1ijx I'm at least as cynical as you about the engagement survey.

And that was always the beauty of a "selective" engagement survey, skew it with lots of HR & MarComms who are deluded and best shore types that will never say anything negative and you have an officially happy workforce. Of course might be a different picture if they ask regular staff in Europe or US.

But but but.... the employee engagement survey says everyone is happy.

(I actually was told that when i pointed out to my management that getting stuff done was verging on impossible due to demoralised staff)

Different approach = different company

DXC management will not change it's mindset.
DXC employees are still hoping on salary increases.

As a result this forum will discuss same topics in years.
