"That's just sick not paying people what they are due then sending out emails to say you cannot do a second job to meet your loan and other payments.
How else are employees supposed to survive, rob banks?
Whoever sent that ethics email should be shown the door, this company is crushing its employees and demoralizing them."
You don't need to rob banks. There are few simple steps to surviving, as many of us have discovered:
-
Write an excellent CV that highlights your achievements and get it circulated
-
Practice interview skills, read articles on how to perform well at interview
-
Get a new job that pays more money
-
Leave the morally bankrupt cesspit that is DXC
-
Start new job with decent, ethical employer
-
Live happily ever after, and consign DXC to your personal history.
I've done it, as have tens of thousands of other DXC employees. DXC does not own you, you can leave and go somewhere better any time you want. Make sure you do so on your terms, not theirs (and they will WFR you with no notice, leaving you unemployed). It's far better to leave on your timescale, not Shouty's.
