Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Pay Raises are apparently being awarded or are they

Cameron Faart said on a recent Town Hole that pay reviews were being carried out and people were being awarded raises. Then he changed his answers, said he couldnt answer when, how much, and you may just get a review or may have got one. The guy didnt know what he was talking about as usual, up in the clouds.

Just shows if a senior guy doesnt know whats going on, and Finch doesnt say anything about pay 5 months after the end of the pay review period, the company doesnt know what its doing.

DXC is just bumbling along in the dark, they cant even make a simple decision. Thats how focussed they are.

Rual as always is elusive on pay never answers the question.

@3jrm+1u8G3ZL8, He did budget for raises this year just as he said he would.
He just didn't say who he had budgeted raises for. That's why the top level have got the raises and not the ground workers.

When staff know they get paid the same as colleagues, and the way to get a rise is do your job and pass your appraisal and the rewards is annual then you can be sure people will behave as you'd like and work together to achieve a common goal of delivering a world class service to our customers, and that next year those same customers will put more business with the company who can deliver.

At the moment - that's not DXC.

Why doesn't Rowul say anything, isn't he supposed to the big chief.

If he managed to get the execs pay through the AGM approval on time and he said they had budgeted for raises this year what's the delay?, where nearly 6 months on.

Why give people who stay a rise. We can just offer them one when they quit. Oh that doesn't work either. When we quit they have a far better offer even if it's less salary in year one. Least the new company wanted you. DXC is now so full of incompetent dead wood it stands no chance.

DXC continues to be in COST CUTTING mode and has been for many fiscal quarters now. There is NO WAY the greedy kleptocrats at the top are going to take on more payroll liabilities. Everyone would need AT LEAST a 30% pay increase to make up for the last 10 years. It’s simple math folks. Raises at DXC are VAPORWARE…will never happen. Believe it.

This company would rather pay more to external recruitment, who are often poor or don't know much, but have polished a resume and ballsitted a interview. These people wont produce much for 12 months to 2 years and they will be off. This is what the DXC strategy is.

In the meantime they will skrew and squeeze the existing staff who are delivering. If your a existing employee you have to move mountains and you still likely to get no raise. If your an external ballsitter you will be rewarded.

@1hfh+1u8G3ZL8 I'm quite sure the ones who managed to justify a rise will be quickly taking that to get themselves at a job with a company that cares. The few left who are still useful now feel totally demoralised. The rest are incompetent and don't do DXC any favours as it is.

Quit - you don't have to leave. Just quit! That's what most people seem to have done.

‘On Monday he said there was millions available‘ do 2,000,000 divided by 50,000 staff is about 40 bucks each.

99% of you are not getting a pay raise. It very clear all over the board. Accept, adjust accordingly or leave. They will clearly go out of their way to ask you to do more work, and tell you the rewards are coming in the future.

As always, mr. Cameron doesn't know what he talks about so he just waffles words for me to cross off my business bingo card. Here's how it works:
At DXC, an increase in pay is an arduous, lengthy, bureaucratic, outlandish process where you, the employee, must produce a strong and convincing case about yourself towards your manager and up to the CEO. You've to show that you've made big dollars for them by whatever you did last fiscal. Moreover, you've to make apparent that you're big buddies with management or have some other, similar nepotistic standing. Managers can select individuals up for 'promotion' this way. This can take from 4 months up to 18 months where you're left dangling that even I start to doubt the veracity of the process.

My boss says whatever percentage he's handed down he'll just dish out to everyone equally. Those who've not had a rise for 10 years needs something, those who've only just joined need something to retain them. So the same unfairness prevails, no matter how much or how little you do, you'll just get the same. If you're way off what your colleagues earn it's not going to change. He obviously heard me say well forget it then, as nothing has been forthcoming.

Why does it take Q2, Q3, and Q4 to do pay reviews, this is not a normal Company.

Any good Company would do them towards then end of the period for review.

On Monday he said there was millions available and reviews would happen in Q2, Q3 and Q4. Some had already received raises, some will but not everyone. Also some are already paid properly.
