Not surprised HR are hopeless. They spend most of their time on this forum stabbing each other in the back..
@3axp, Sorry sir, this is a Wendys.
HR as a concept is good, and should promote workforce efficiency etc.
But, that is when the HR is qualified to do the job. The current state of the HR is a joke, most of them have no clue about any fu----g thing. If they were not in HR, they d be flipping burgers at Wendys, its pathetic.
@1hcp, you must have worked for Texaco. That was their 'explanation' for not drilling wells, right before they cratered and were rescued by Chevron. Oh, and yes, they were funneling all their 'savings' into executive bonuses, stock buybacks, and dividends. This should all sound strangely familiar.
OP, thank you for the compliment. The pleasure is ours. Love, Chevron HR.
Here’s an open secret. Sometimes you make more money by NOT drilling. Can you believe it?
Sometimes it's difficult with threads like this and the previous one to decide which way to vote on the comments. One has to question whether the comments are satirical in nature or literal. However, as most comments seem to emanate from the USA, I'll take it they are literal and vote accordingly. Satire and intonation seem to be a lost art in the Americas hence the reason why HR thinks they World Class are doing such a good job Globally. They don't understand the nuances in the communications they receive particularly from overseas.
Well, they are full of gas… so that’s a start.
@qnh, HR drilled me only once in my 27 years, that was the day my name came up on the list of employees to be laid off. I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, like many others. But I now look upon this happening as a good thing. I’m financially well retired and enjoying life a great deal. No need to work again.
they sure do know where to drill!!! they drill me very frequently in the right spot.
The only oil and gas that HR knows about very well is the hot gas rhetoric and lies they speak and the oily lubricant used when they have us employees bend over to take management’s medicine.
Companies, including Chevron, typically prioritize diversity, inclusion, equity, and creating a supportive work environment for employees. However, the specific priorities and the relative importance of these initiatives may vary based on the company's unique circumstances and goals.
Chevron HR will tell you that finding oil and gas is WAY behind 1) diversity and inclusion goals; 2) Equity of promotions; 3) networks; 4) squashing whistleblowers in importance.
