@1hb the place is a sh-t hole and they treat their people like sh-t good hard-working people that worked their as--s off their best years of their lives for the company and they terminate them even though they’ve done their best job and really given their best for the company they’re all about the shareholder the stock price and the CEO’s big fat salary. Those clowns are sorry as he-l!!! used to be a great place to work about 20 years ago best thing is the paycheck that’s it! 23 years in the dump! And terminated!!’ should’ve told them thank you!!🏴‍☠️🇺🇸🌞🪂🦅🍻

30 years! Only 3 years before retirement. Targeting 55 and older. They are letting go of all the talent. It really is sad what this company has become.

I had a charge number and was fully covered, yet I got laid off. Why? This makes no sense.

L3Harris wants to be a disruptor, and they sure disrupted the lives of thousands of people last week. These layoffs came with no warning and no reason was given. I guess that C K and his board needed higher bonuses.

"They want you to believe that you need them and they don’t need you."
But they are right. And you know it. If you had someplace else to go you would be there by now. And they know that too. You've got no place else to go and no choice but to wait and see what they decide to do with you.

400+ people company wide this time. (About 1% RIF). Look for a 2% RIF this Summer. (About 900 people).
If you think that's just a bullsh!t rumor, I bet you thought the last one was too. Don't get caught flat footed again. Stay frosty boys.

Ah best place to be, between all the narcissistic people, the self righteous, the su-k ups, the kiss booties, not to mention the best and open minded people managers I’ve dealt with! I can’t think of a better place to wake up, smell the coffee n say to myself “what f’ed up people am I dealing with today!”

I understand what “less than five reports” means. I don’t get what “got to have” means. Is it better to be a manager with less reports?

Amityville has mangers with less then 5 people working under them . Reporting to them ,
Many less than 10 to 20.

Less than 5 reports”?

Amityville SAS least 15 people
All direct labor. No exempt employees. No management

  • Got to have a manager with

Less than 5 reports. You All know of the miss charging of the government program's
Remember that's your money.
Speak up. L3 HARRIS tells you
To be an ethical employee lol.

We're still reaping the rewards of over-promoting new people to roles and not putting experience in.
So you've got NCGs who demand to be promoted every 6 months... and older employees with years of experience being terminated for being 'not young enough' (don't kid yourselves, look at the stats if they're not restricted by NDA again)

I called out sick today in clifton. And I shut my phone off, and have not checked my emails. How many were let go? I don't want to find out tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll stay home until monday.

They are laying off employees before the end of the quarter to improve financial performance ahead of their quarterly earnings report.

See some people still getting walk out of Palm Bay SAS, rumor is its a 1% RIF and there will be another RIF around summer time for 1% or 2% already decided by upper management. Decisions on who is let go are chosen by upper management and depends on your level and where in the salary spectrum you are. Example: if you are a level 4 and on the higher side of a level 4 salary then you will be a target. If you are a level 2 and on the lower spectrum of your salary range then you will be safe.

And then here in October we’ll all get those engagement surveys and answer “I feel like the company will do everything it can to protect my job - STRONGLY DISAGREE” and we’ll all be back here next year!

I’d like to know the rationale, or at least what they will claim it is. Everyone posting their layoff seems completely unrelated, some 2 years, some 30+ years and everything in between, some in green programs, all different levels. Was it just Hunger Games style pick a name out of a bowl until we hit our quota?

I don’t believe I’m on the chopping block, but I know of 2 PM’s that were let go in Palm Bay. One was identified as a great PM on a green program. The other was a PM to at least 3 programs. I’m not sure about the logic behind these RIFs, but it seems to me that they will be hard and costly to replace- not sure if that makes us leaner or more profitable or what the end goal is.

At least 4 people in BAS in Melbourne, Florida were laid off today. These layoffs came out of no where, with no warning. Everyone here is both scared and angry. Anyone know what is going on?

They said I'd be terminated at the end of the day but be warned, they revoke all your accounts basically immediately. I barely had time to let my team know.
Couldn't even commit my code or anything either. I also had important passwords and information that's now just stuck on my laptop which is a brick now.
That's how they value almost 10 years of service I guess.
