Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Don't forget or let your guard down! Sc-m bagsss!!!

TIPSY-Announcement of future state model- Told how wonderful it would be! Con job! Scammed people to move and self-demote with the promise of future gain/promotions that never happened!
State Farm threw hiring standards out the window! Disposable labor! Ho----s soliciting in Express, dr-g overdoses, bo-b threats, physical altercations, and beginning of burger flipper university at the Farm!
Office closure announcements!
2016 and 2017 SF lost 12 billion dollars and lost 1.3 million autos shortly after! Office closures begin!
COVID hits and SF decides it's going to finish and put the WHOLE shaft in deeper, closes the rest of the offices, and tells everyone will have to move to a hub including any leadership!
Scam back fires!!! Id--ts misjudge and there is an employee shortage as people re-evaluate their lives, get free money, and SF can't hire anyone. WFH!!!
From 2016-2021 SF runs off, lies, abuses, scheme, and cons 17,000+ people out of their job! Cuts claim staffing in auto and fire by around 40%! Uses this to buy the business and avoids becoming #2 on the 100th year anniversary! (SF already had the message points for becoming #2). Growth is an illusion! Junk business!
The top 5 claims execs "take an early retirement/leave"- scape goats!
Tipsy crying again saying he proved his model works even though people do not like or agree with how he did it. Spent billions on ECRs..... Claims almost collapsed and still may not recover!
Cuts pension for any new hires starting in 2021!
TIPSY- Gets the largest cash bonus of any CEO in the US! $24.5 million!
2022 - As just discussed in the Exec briefing, SF may hire as many at 15,000 people (basically rehire) this year! Every ex Walmart, Amazon warehouse worker, burger flipper, bartender, nut job, or soccer mom that could not find a job doing anything else! They are cheaper and no pension liability! 401k--they don't have money to put in so SF has nothing to match! Plus they will leave in 2-3 years!!!
Combined ratio/losses through the roof and growth slowing down! Says ohhh we will fix it and grow our way out of this, WE promise pinky swear swear! Don't be surprised by billions in losses! (thanks for the heads-up Tipsy). Big Dog! 2.0!!!!!
Tipsy-You are going to retire in the next year or so as you turned 63 in June! Once the ship really starts going down you will be gone!
DO NOT FORGET WHAT THESE PIECES OF SH_T HAVE DONE TO SOOO MANY GOOD PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES!!! THESE ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST!!! SC-M BAGS!!! EVERY WORD THAT COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS IS A LIE!!!!

The systems and service model and data strategy stink to high Heaven

Public private exploitive buddies - corruption

Big bucks $$ for elites

Op’s points are all valid. The problem here is he/she cannot write coherently.

We should not have to ask our children to interpret your rants.

Learn to use paragraphs, proper sentence structure, and proper grammar.

nonsensical ravings like this post, and then the childish arguing in the thread ruins this site. OP, if your not working for HR, you are doing people a disservice posting your topics here. If you are HR, we are all still here chatting about work. Either way ineffective. Please find a new hobby so us rational workers have a place to complain with other like minded adults. Find a new place to post your garbage please!

Dillussional is executive and management at SF. Definitely out of balance. Supporting a false narrative is dillussional.

I wonder what kind of dr-gs the OP is on. It’s definitely a combination of the hard stuff to create a dillussional rant like that.

It would have been very easy and just simple math. MT did it backasswards! Execs asked Ed to do it in when they rolled out Agency 2000 but he chickened out. Got us off the agency model, plain and simple!!! Our expense ratio is 35%-37% on average for the last 30 years!!! Agency accounts for about 12-14% of that, Marketing is about 9-11% of it, Legal is about 7-9%, Operations/employees/buildings are about 5-7% and taxes/fees run about 1-2%. They wouldn't touch the agent's, marketing or legal... and taxes-fees are unavoidable! So what these uesless f-cks did was shave 40% off employee comp/facilities (17,000 people/close offices) which is around $1 billion a year (2-3%), invested it and over a 6-7 year time span he lowered rates and bought cr-p business with the savings! Same thing Ed did with Big Dog! While literally working people to death and destroying the company! Funny now that we have added employees back to 2013-2014 staffing levels, our combined ratio is now higher than when he came in!!!! Again agree with previous statement, he played everyone for fools and will walk out the doors with a cool $100 million+ in his pocket!!!! Flipping-off the suckers all the way out the door, laughing!!!! More cow bell please!

If executive and management got together and made the quantity equal to the quality in the narrative and showed they respect the claim handlers that would create an incentive to create quality work and quality production. As it is now, the claim handlers have zero incentive by only focusing on putting out fires. Leaders in races know their personal and mechanical limitations.

What would employees have done differently if they “believed the narrative?”

@2pob I can tell you with 100% certainty the company would have done a lot better if the employees believed in the narrative and would have been rewarded for it. Operations is the best way to increase policy count, coverages, and premiums but if they are trying to push 200+ inventories with metrics there is no way under the canopy of heaven you can give the customers what they have come to expect. This is obviously as a result of management and executive pushing quantity v quality. History reveals when that is done, not only does the employee always feel like they are being spanked but the customer as well. Not only that but turnover and burn out. Couple all these together and we wonder why our health physically and mentally are under constant attack. Put gas on the fire by working claims which is negative itself.

I hope and pray for the future of the claim handlers because current leadership does not see this even if it was stapled to the end of their nose. Greed ki--s. Conservative growth will always outperform the market.

2016/2017 we were getting our tails handed to us by the competition. Bleeding policies and money. It was looking like a certainty we would lose our #1 position.

I’d like to know what different decisions OP would have made that would have 1) returned us to profitability, and 2 ) strengthened our leadership position. It’s easy to criticize decisions that were not easy and didn’t feel good to anyone. But what would YOU or any of the other critics have done differently to get the same or better results? And if you do have brilliant ideas that were never thought of, what did you do to advance those forward?

My only fear is the next person that replaces Tipsy is going to be even worse and a more useless sc-m bag! I have a strange feeling it is going to be Chris S. Funny as we are starting to see him more and more and no one knows him except from the agency side.
I agree with the OP that SF execs basically scammed policyholders for millions and millions and also did it on the backs of all the decent hard working people. I laugh when I see that whole crew, RH, CS, MT, PS, and MS. They look like the re--rded rejects losers selling hot tubs at the local home and garden show. Embarrassing to know these are the people deciding our faiths and have made $10's of millions!!!!

Why don't you buy a lake house like I did? Whenever I feel stressed I go to my house at on Lake of the Ozarks and my troubled melt away. I highly recommend buying one.

And you believe there was no name calling in OP’s comments. No wonder you recognize hypocrisy and loss of integrity so well-you model it.

@1guk. No cancel culture at all. Just commenting on the name calling. When someone replies with name calling only they lost integrity in the conversation.

The sooner people wake up and don't believe their narrative the better off they will be. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. Hard sell politicians is what they are.

You know the people who should be REALLY angry are those who lost their jobs years ago with the invention of hubs only for SF to turn around and allow/create remote positions. If I were one of these people I would be pi---d.
