Getting sick of having to lie to vendors about Honeywell not paying its bills.
It’s not a part of my job description or skilllset. Guess I need to skill up than.

Honeywell is an entire company built on lies. Lie to vendors. Lie to employees to trick them to work for you. Then pull the rug out and underpay, abuse them and lay them off. Lie to shareholders about how your tu-d of a business is doing financially.
Its the Honeywell way.
If that's not part of your job description they should be paying you more then- oh wait is this Honeywell?
Oh well you better lie more and better to those vendors than you ever have in your life. Make sure you do it for free on the weekends and after hours to hit the unpaid overtime goals. If you can sc--w over the vendors and cut Honeywells costs by deferring the expense of actually paying your employees onto yourself through 20% mandatory unpaid overtime then you might be luck enough to get your 1.24999% raise and not get laid off next year.

I agree with the @OP.
I have been directly told to lie to vendors and have been threatened that failure to negotiate specific outcomes would result in my MIP being impacted.
Not once, not twice.
Not one manager, not two managers, multiple managers and a director.
Not sure what little bubble business you live in but my experience is that schedule is now king and nothing else matters. When was the last time you saw a product development team celebrated for building a fantastic product? Nope..all about speed and cost.
Your experience may be different.
I recommend talking to the Vendors to make a judgment about honeywell's ethics.
Reputation is the only currency.

Despite our leader's dreams of self importance honeywell is a very small volume player for most products. This is especially true for aerospace.

Or just be transparent. Or learn to get invoices processed. Honeywell doesn’t require lying.
